Ideal for lovers of Olympianism and sports in general, with pieces of value exposed from the main myths of the sport that participated in the Barcelona games. As an axis of improvement I would comment that , at certain times the exhibition is a little messy, mixing disciplines (such as motorcycling, mountaineering among others) where they have not been Olympic, but also that they have wanted to recognize relevant figures both national and international Instagram; Gastronomy recommendations Follow me @del_orchard_al_dish
For a very affordable price, you can enter this museum and enjoy a great experience. It’s highly interactive and packed with information about Olympic sports. My favorite parts were the Formula 1 car, perfect for taking some great photos, and the interactive display showing all the Olympic torches, a real highlight. Overall, it’s fun, informative, and well worth a visit. Highly recommended!
Enjoyable multi level museum with lots of information on the history of the olympics and of course the Spanish experience and Barcelona’s Olympics. Lots to read as well as images and film. Big selection of exhibits on display covering a lot of the events and other events like motorsport not featured in the event. Some interactive elements to have some fun with and compete with friends. You descend down to the basement with information and exhibits all the way down with some additional rooms at various points. The gift shop finishes the tour and you are back at the top. Fair price for the experience.
If you love the Olympics, you’ll love this museum! I personally am a big fan of the Olympics w my fav being the original Dream Team so this was a must see!
We didn't plan on doing this, but I'm extremely happy that we visited it after all. A very fun and interesting museum for very little money! The interactive section was also really fun, but my favourite part was the room with all the Olympic torches. I really recommend it if you're into sports!
Located on the Montjuic hill near the Olympic stadium and it is a great stop for all sport enthusiasts. Lots of sports equipment and memorabilia from the Olympic games. Can be visited for free first sunday of each month.
This pleasant museum has interesting exhibits and the right amount of artifacts to be engaging, even for people who are not sports enthusiasts. The exhibit text is in Spanish, English, and if I recall correctly, Catalan. It's worth a stop if you are exploring Montjuic!
We happen to visit this museum, which is next to the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys in Montjuic. On the way between the two, there is a “Scalade of Fame”, with feet of famous athletes. The museum is cheap and very interesting, telling the story of various sports and famous athletes. It's empty, it's air-conditioned, the shape of the hallways is spiral. There are some interactive activities, like betting race with a hallway hologram, well fun. It was worth it!
We came to protect ourselves from the outside heat. What a nice surprise! We enjoyed this dive into the history of the modern Olympics with reminders of the 1992 Olympics. My 15 and 10 year olds loved it. Price more than correct!
