Touring the Acropolis Museum at night with my guide, Ellie, was an incredible experience! Seeing the ancient ruins and hearing the fascinating history was both educational and fun!!!
This tour does not include admission to the museum and it runs 3 hours, not 2, as it was described. Our guide, Demetrios was really great, interesting and fun, but, again, I was surprised to have to buy our own admission tickets after paying more than $450 for the private tour.
The Acropolis at night is stunning! Our tour guide was wonderful and made learning about the Acropolis and Greek mythology fun. The museum is less crowded at night.
Engaging historical tour of an amazing place with fascinating stories.. The Acropolis and Parthenon are not to be missed, and a knowledgeable guide, such as the one we had in Dimitrious makes all the difference in connecting you to the place and its significance. Highly recommend.!!
The private nighttime tour of the Acropolis Museum was excellent! Our guide was super knowledgable, entertaining, and moved us efficiently through so we could take in the museum as a whole. Highly recommend!
Fantastic experience. The building is brilliant and the views of the Acropolis at night made having a drink on the terrace unforgettable
Our guide Georgia was really great. She walked us through the whole museum and showed us her favorite parts of it. You could tell she enjoyed what she was talking about and she was so knowledgeable. She also gave us great tips about what time to do visit certain areas to avoid the crowds. We could’ve walked the museum by ourselves but we wouldn’t have had any idea what we were looking at or the rich history. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning the history of the Acropolis. Three hours may seem like a long time but it goes by really quick because you’re learning so much. And doing the tour at night was amazing too because it wasn’t crowded and it was quiet. Georgia even set aside time for us to make sure we could shop in the gift shop. Overall, it was a great experience.
It was an amazing experience seeing all of the antiquities that have been found. We had dinner after the tour at the museum. Looking up at the Parthenon all lit up was fabulous! Our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. Thanks for a fantastic tour.
Our experience inside the Acropolis Museum, guided by Stelios, a knowledgeable and passionate archaeologist, was phenomenal. Ancient Athens, was brought to life! I could imagine and feel what the people may have gone through and ultimately what shaped them to go on to become strength and resilience personified. This led to many valuable contributions to the western world. Stelios connected so many dots for us, historically and mythologically. He was glad to answer our questions and engaged, wholeheartedly in our exchanges. We were all energized and inspired by our experience. The museum was magical by night, illuminating ancient Athens and the actual Parthenon across the way, in very special light.
