El Maximilianeum, un gran edificio neorrenacentista, fue encargado por el rey Maximiliano II de Baviera en 1857. Diseñado por Friedrich Bürklein, sirvió inicialmente como una institución educativa para estudiantes dotados. Situado a orillas del río Isar, el Maximilianeum es un hito sorprendente en Maximilianstrasse, un bulevar de renombre bordeado de palacios neogóticos. Paramos aquí para una sesión de fotos rápida. Highly recommend beginning your journey in Germany with this tour. I was a little worried biking with my family in a foreign city but since there is a guide in front of the pack as well as behind the end of the pack, I felt a little more reassured. Our guide Kyle was very kind and even gave great tips for our stay while in Germany. The German train system can be extremely confusing and costly (especially if you don’t speak German) and he gave us some great tips that saved us a lot of money. Really appreciate the good people who work here. After our trip everyone agreed this was the best thing that we did while in Munich.

We loved this tour! My 12yo and 7.5yo both rode their own bikes. Our guide, Scott, did a great job keeping everyone together and keeping everyone safe through busy streets. His explanation of procedures and recommendations for food when we got to the beer garden was super clear and helpful. He had a good sense of humor and offered a solid amount of historical information at each stop. Highly recommend!

We had such a great experience. I had my two kids (8&10) who enjoyed the tour. The stops were great, we had a nice lunch, and got to see everything we wanted. Bonus was no complaints from the kids.

I was in Munich for a day, and this was a great way to get a lot of ground , with a great background and information of the city ! Chloe was super nice, I learned a lot , and really enjoyed the bike ride. I loved the surf river , and beer garden , full Munich experience , great for a quick passing . Not much riding. Mostly coasting. Fine for relaxing. It would have been nice to ride more through the garden ground rather than the long lunch

We completely understand that some riders want to put more miles on the odometer! For guests looking for a sportier ride with way more time in the saddle and deeper exploration of the English Garden, we always recommend booking a private customized tour or renting one of our bikes independently. Awesome afternoon with Tim! He was knowledgeable, funny, always had our safety in mind with clear instructions, etc. We learned so much and had a ton of fun seeing Munich! The stop at the Chinese Beer Garden for lunch and a beer was a highlight!

Clear meeting location. The tour highlighted many of the historic sites and the ride through the English Garden was wonderful. The group size was too large for the streets of Munich. Tour was longer than advertised because of the large . I would look into a private tour. In addition, one of the customers was responsible for “bringing up the rear”. This job should have been delegated to another employee from the company.
