Mtskheta es el centro religioso de Georgia y la antigua capital de nuestro país. Un lugar sagrado para cada georgiano. A menudo los lugareños llaman a esta ciudad la segunda Jerusalén o georgiana, y por buenas razones. Hay una gran cantidad de reliquias de todo el mundo cristiano, y si quieres entender el alma del pueblo georgiano, definitivamente deberías visitar esta ciudad, porque los georgianos son considerados uno de los más religiosos.

Nuestra caminata comienza A. Pushkin, M. Lermontov, P. Tchaikovsky, A. Dumas-padre, L. Tolstoy y muchos otros. Apagando el camino, pasará por los lugares donde se desarrollaron los eventos descritos por Lermontov en el famoso poema "Mtsyri", y subirá al templo Jvari del siglo VI. Desde aquí verá una vista encantadora de Mtskheta: " ... donde el ruido de fusión, abrazos, como si dos hermanas, los chorros de Aragva y el Kura ... "
Templos de Mtskheta Visitarás la Catedral de Svetitskhoveli (Pilar de la Vida), la catedral patriarcal de la Iglesia Ortodoxa de Georgia. Conozca su historia y los acontecimientos importantes del pasado. Aquí está el lugar de entierro de los santuarios del cristianismo: la túnica de Jesucristo y el manto de Elías el Profeta, así como las reliquias de San Andrés el Primer Llamado.

Relaxing trip with good amount of time at every place. Guide used microphone in the car which was good so both front and backseat heard. Remember too Bring cash because toilets costs.

My friend and I went with this tour company to Kazbegi one day and to Mtskheta the next. I highly recommend them! They sent me video on Whatapp to show my exactly where the pick-up location is. Everyone was very kind. Our driver drove safely, our guide Georgi was great, and Kazbegi was beautiful. The next day to go to Mtshketa, I had issues getting to the pick-up location on time and they waited and checked that the minibus didn't leave without me (I communicated about my delay through Whatspp). Our new tour guide Zura was also great. Both guides were also to switch between languages easily which is really a talent. Super positive experience all around!

A good trip overall. The leader had a good historical knowledge however I felt that he spoke too long in the other language before he started the English explanation.
Yes the band was bilingual they explain the tour stories quite well I'm sorry but unfortunately the languages get mixed up.
We arrived at 11:30am, as per instructions. But we started the tour 50+ mins late. The tour was marketed as an English tour. But 90% of the time the guide was speaking in Russian, isolating English speakers. The little English used in the tour did not give enough information about the attractions at all. The tour marketed 3 attractions. The last attraction was skipped without reason, explanation or consultation with participants. Maybe to end the tour on time since it started late.
