Descripción
La caminata comenzará a la altura de 1420 metros MSL (aprox.), Comenzaremos a través de las plantaciones de té durante unos 60 a 90 minutos. Después de llegar a la cima de la colina, el resto de nuestra caminata de un par de horas estará en la cresta que Ofrece hermosas vistas alrededor, será a través de los pastizales, un lado será la ladera de la montaña rocosa y el otro lado serán las plantaciones de té, los parches del bosque Shola, etc. En un día despejado, podríamos ver el pico más alto de Anaimudi en S. India ”y la reserva de agua de la presa Idukki, que figura como las presas de arco más altas de Asia y la tercera presa más alta de la India. Tendremos un refrigerio / almuerzo de picnic en cualquier lugar adecuado durante la caminata, nuestra caminata se realizará a través de la Zona de la Naturaleza donde podremos ver algunas de las especias exóticas como el café, el cardamomo, etc. Tendremos otros 60 minutos a 01.5 horas de caminata plantaciones de té para terminar la caminata, el punto más alto de esta caminata será de aproximadamente 1950 metros MSL (aprox.)

My tour guide was Sammy and he was awesome. Sammy was very knowledgeable about the tea plantations and their history, I got a very insightful information about the types of wild life and plants that live in the area as well. On top of the plantations and ecosystem, he has given me insights on the types of medical herbs that are grown in the area and the history behind it. The hike itself was amazing, I was able to see the beautiful rolling hills of munnar and walk through the tea plantations. We also climbed two mountains with waterfalls and a full view of the area. The difficulty of the lakshmi hill hike I'd say was easy with steeps.

Sami was the best guide. He was so knowledgeable and taught us so much. We felt really looked after and loved our walk through the beautiful landscapes!

“We really enjoyed the visit with Sami. He is very interesting, with many stories to tell, as well as fun riddles and anecdotes, and he is an excellent guide. He took us through the tea plantations, into the jungle as well, and had prepared a lovely snack for us. Walking in the Tea plantations is a very nice expérience. We recommand !

We did a full day of hiking in Lakshmi hills in early April, and we had the most amazing time. The views were breathtaking all the way, I’ve never seen anything like it. Our guide, Mr. Vijayn, was fantastic. Super knowledgeable, kind and attentive. He gave us lots of interesting information about the area, both historically and today, as well well as showing us what species of flora and fauna were found around us. The packed lunch and snacks were delicious. We are not in super fit shape, and the 6 hours of hiking were tiring, but absolutely worth it. The price is also very reasonable. We did this on day 15 of our trip to India, and it was definitely our best experience so far. I recommend anyone interested in hiking in the Munnar area to choose this company!
