Caminata de un día al monte Kilimanjaro

The initial contact with them could have gone way better. We had booked this 2 months in advance and only got a message about a “needed briefing” 12 hours before our hike. They messaged us asking to meet with us in 2 hours. As planned travellers, a last min briefing was not in the schedule. We were not even in the country yet. They did not provide VITAL and IMPORTANT information about the one day Kilimanjaro hike such as, 1) YOU NEED TO BRING A BOTTLE (reusable) as there is no plastic bottles in the mountain (they will provide water but you need to bring bottles). 2) you need your passport (thank god we brought them onto the mountain with us, because they only told us @ arrival). 3) you need warm clothing. There you go, the briefing sent as a simple message that would have changed everything… thank god for your amazing guides to worked harder to make up for Rupia’s incompetence. The hike itself was great, Laurent was wonderful. They take pictures of you along the way and have you hold their sign (which we felt a-little uncomfortable with after five pictures with their sign). Overall, I loved the hike & Laurent was great but would go in another direction for the tour company itself.

We planned to climb kilimanjaro to the top but our time not enough, Matt advise us to do day hike, its was amazing, next year we hope to suummit

It was a very pleasant experience, the guide was very attentive to me, the tour guide was very professional, from planning the trip to arranging the trip, very professional and thoughtful, a great day trip

We had a wonderful day with Gideon from Rupia and Wolfgang ( a student from guide school). We went through the rain forest , an amazing scenery. A big compliment to Gideon, he is a great guide. He gives everything for his clients. Thank you for this beautiful day.

We booked this tour 6 months in advance. It was automatically cancelled once because the operator did not confirm. When we reached out they said we should wire them money instead of using TripAdvisor so that they don't have to pay fees. We were not comfortable with this and stated that booking through TripAdvisor is what gives us security as the customer and they agreed to have us re-book. One week before our tour we receive a message that they have money issues and will only do the tour for us if we pay them in cash. This was beyond unprofessional. Please save yourself any headache and inconvenience and find another tour operator. Rupia, if you do not want to honor bookings on TripAdvisor and want to avoid their fees then you should remove your listings.

Easy booking and cash payment on site on the day of the hike. On time hotel pickup by a friendly driver. The guide was characterized by a very friendly nature and good expertise. He adapted particularly well to the possible walking pace. The trail is well marked, but there are many marshes and stone passages to tackle. The packed lunch was rich. Unfortunately, despite the altitude of 2720 m, one could not see the Kilimanjaro from the huts of Mandara Hut.

Ibrahim, the manager, is an Bad person! He was rude and unprofessional. The service provided was terrible. I would never ever book another trip with this guy. The driver, Johnson, was ok and also the lady working for him, who arranged our transfers, was ok. But Matt, the man who owns the bussiness, should find something elso to do for living, as in tourism he's a disaster.

Day hike to Mt Kilimanjaro was good, our guide Emanuel was good and strong thanks Rupia Adventure for arranged our trip

We did mount Kilimanjaro day hike with Rupia Adventure, our guides Frank and Emanuel were very professional, lunch was good and delicious, we connected Matt the company owner and arranged very well our trip, everything were good and on time we recommend this company
