Este recorrido está dirigido por un artista local que también es músico y arquitecto, y vive en el corazón de la escena de arte callejero de Mostar. Con profundas raíces en la comunidad creativa, ofrece más que solo conocimiento: comparte experiencias vividas. Durante los proyectos de murales en su propio barrio, pasó tiempo con otros artistas, intercambiando historias e ideas entre sesiones de pintura. Los visitantes no sólo verán murales: también escucharán las historias detrás de ellos. Esto no es sólo un recorrido: es una invitación a la cultura callejera viva y vibrante de Mostar.

Ecos de elegancia y decadencia Una de las joyas arquitectónicas de Mostar, el Hotel Neretva, ha sido recientemente restaurado para reflejar su elegancia austrohúngara original. Dejado en ruinas después de la guerra, permaneció durante años como símbolo de destrucción, a menudo rodeado de grafitis crudos y arte callejero informal.
Mientras te paras frente a estas fachadas, escucharás historias sobre los artistas detrás de ellas, el proceso creativo y lo que significa vivir entre este arte todos los días, incluidos recuerdos personales de cuando se pintaron estos murales y el tiempo que pasamos con los artistas durante sus descansos.
OKC Abrašević no es solo un recinto: es un centro cultural vivo. Rodeado de texturas urbanas crudas y murales experimentales, este espacio ha sido durante mucho tiempo un punto de encuentro para jóvenes creativos, activistas y artistas.

I had booked this street art tour, and an old town private walking tour for the same day. When I met my guide, Mak, turns out it was only me on both tours, and so we set off for several hours of fascinating insight into local history, culture, street art, and so much more. As he lives in the neighborhood where many of the street art pieces are located, Mak has met several of the artists and clearly has a deep appreciation for this style of art. I also gained more context and nuance around the war, as well as the lived experience in post-Communist Herzegovina, and we veered into discussion around politics, education, cost of living and so much more about our two countries. Truly, this tour and my experience talking to Mak was the highlight of my time in BiH, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Thank you, Mak!!
Wow highlight of my Mostar trip. I would super highly recommend. You will learn the history behind each piece of art. Feel like you are in the artist mind and the soul of Bosnia. Just a super worthwhile tour. If you only do one thing in Mostar besides old town. Don’t miss this.
