Senderismo por la Montaña Lunar. Se siente como si estuviéramos en un planeta diferente. La experiencia irreal te hizo conectar con la naturaleza saudí desde una perspectiva diferente. Esta caminata es una necesidad para alguien que busca un tiempo tranquilo fuera de la ciudad.

Itinerario
Comenzaremos a conducir desde Jeddah a las 9:30 a.m. durante una hora hacia el norte hasta el valle de la luna en Asfan Road hacia la Universidad de Jeddah, después de lo cual llegará a un pueblo desde donde su destino de caminata estará a solo 25 minutos. Para llegar al valle necesitarás un vehículo 4x4 ya que el terreno es generalmente arenoso y rocoso.
Moon Valley se encuentra aproximadamente a 120 kilómetros de la ciudad de Jeddah. Tiene las mejores vistas del desierto y formaciones rocosas para caminatas que se asemejan a imágenes de la superficie de la luna. El ambiente del valle es propicio para una sesión de mediación y conecta mejor con la naturaleza (Trae tu tapete). Comenzaremos a regresar a la ciudad después de tomar nuestro último descanso en el Valle (se proporcionan bebidas y refrigerios). El tiempo de viaje de regreso a Jeddah, Arabia Saudita es de 1 hora.

The moon valley has some spectacular views and the hike up the mountain was fun. Good communication and the guide was in time and everything went as planned even though the booking was the day before.
we went with Jeddah Go Outdoors : pick up on time at hotel, excellent guide Maher : speaks fluent English, very friendly, tells about his country, showed the way on the rock views were amazing, no other people (weekday) 100% recommanded
Great little excursion to get out of the city for a bit and see the natural landscapes and interesting rock formations. Short scramble up and down but very happy to have had the opportunity to do it. Mohammed was very kind and everything was done at my pace and helped take a bunch of fun photos for me.
I had a great time on this hike. The sunset view from the top was incredible. Everything was so quiet and peaceful. Abdallah really looked after me. He made sure I was ok up and down the mountain, took lots of pictures and made me tea at the end of the hike. And by that time it was dark so we drank our tea under the stars. The communication I received from Abha Trips before the hike was excellent. They kept me informed about the pickup and guide details.
Excellent experience and very enjoyable picked up from hotel at 5am for sunrise trip. Walk was generally straightforward in trainers though a bit of a scramble at top,ably helped by guide Maher who was really helpful. Lovely sunrise and no one else but us were there
A unique experience in nature, a bit challenging and quite exciting and scenery is stunning and like nothing you’ve ever seen. Wonderful guide - funny and warmhearted
Moon Mountain was really amazing, such a unique place to visit while in Jeddah. It’s an easy afternoon adventure with an incredible sunset from the top. I would call it a bit of a scramble rather than a hike, as climbing through and over the rocks. Our guide Adel was great, he was funny, easy to talk to and made the experience more fun.

Be prepared and dress special hiking shoes. This hiking requires basic athletic training because there are places where it is quite difficult to climb up 🔥
Amazing sunset climb of the mountain. You need reasonable fitness and not afraid of heights. Rock climbing gloves are not necessary but would help. Finished with traditional tea.
I had a fantastic experience! Abdullah was kind and I felt very safe the whole time! A bit of a climb, but so worth it. I did this as a layover tour while in Jeddah and it was a smooth transfer experience. As a solo female traveler, sometimes finding a good tour is tricky, but this was an incredible experience. I cannot recommend more!
