Super convenient speed boat with only 6 other guests and lots of time snorkeling each spot. Beautiful snorkeling! Lots of fish and creatures and cool rock formations. Some people were able to swim with a turtle.

Guides were great. We saw so many fish. Also saw an eel, octopus and a little sting ray. We were able to see some spinner dolphins. We would definitely do this again.

Dolphin Discoveries is a Top Notch company! From the time you check in, you are greeted warmly and given all the equipment and instructions needed. They even offer some prescription scuba masks! The scuba tour was awesome! We had the best guides! Colby and Dennis are very informative and made the tour amazing! I highly recommend this company.

We had a lite bit of anxiety about going; bit the experience was absolutely amazing! The guides, I think their names were Seth amd Addiie, were amazing. Very knowledgeable about the excursions. We had an absolutely amazing time. Highly recommend!

We had a phenomenal two reef snorkeling excursion. Seth was an amazing captain and guide! Snorkeling at both reefs was fantastic but exceptional at Honaunau Bay (Two Step Beach). We will do this again if we are lucky enough to travel back to the Big Island!

Great people. Small but not too small boat. There were 9 guests. We really liked Seth and Addy as our captain and crew. They were very welcoming!

I was thoroughly impressed with Captain Dennis and Rey Rey(not sure on the spelling. Captain Dennis was fun, informative, safe, and very personable. He took time to explain answers to our questions and was very patient with us when we asked about boundaries. Rey Rey was so helpful and kind. She handled other guests with grace and kindness when they needed extra help getting into and off of the boat. I would HIGHLY recommend this crew to anyone. My brother and I are already planning another trip for this excursion alone. So good.

I have been snorkeling on many of the Hawaiian island's and this one was a favorite! The first location is very hard to get to by foot as there is a long hike so that was neat. The second location is more easily accessible so we did go back the next day because it was my favorite! I saw so many different colored fish, variety of sea urchins and vibrant colored coral reef. The staff we had were very friendly and ensured we had a safe/fun trip! Highly recommend

The crew’s attitude was extremely disappointing. It was honestly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. On the way to the tour, I even transferred an extra $25 to our Uber driver just so I could get $20 in cash to tip the crew afterward. By the end of the trip, however, I decided not to leave a single dollar because I genuinely didn’t feel they had earned it. Perhaps my expectations were higher because I had such an outstanding snorkeling experience in Honolulu. That’s on me—I probably shouldn’t have expected the same level of service everywhere. Even so, in over a decade of traveling, I have never encountered a crew that felt so unprofessional in terms of customer service. They came across as people who were simply tired of their jobs and eager for the day to end, rather than people who enjoyed taking care of their guests.

Colby and Seth were great. Kept everyone’s safety in the forefront and led a great snorkeling adventure. Their knowledge about the sea was apparent when we saw two bottlenose dolphins. What a great family friendly excursion.
