Chef PJ is a character, in the best sense of the word. He is larger than life and filled with stories and knowledge. This tour is a real experience. Groups are small, 6 guests, and the price reflects it, but what fun the 6 of us had. We went to 4 different venues, including Le Petit Moulin and naming my favourite would be hard. We drank much more than I am used to, but the wine was of excellent quality, and somehow I escaped a hangover.

Ask anything, and not only do you learn about the wine, but you get a story to go with it. The Chef Tours is unlike any food or wine experience we have taken in the past. This is a must-do experience.

My favourite experience of my trip so far - learned so much about wine and Montmartre. I honestly felt like a friend/family member of PJ - warmth, generosity and kindness was all I experienced from PJ and everyone we met along the way (he seems to know and is friends with the entire neighbourhood)! Certainly helps having delicious food and wine along the way!

It's been 6 months since I've done this tour and honestly there's hardly a day goes by that I don't think about it. It was single-handedly the best experience I had in Paris. Chef PJ is beyond knowledgeable about food and wine. It is his life and his essence. His warmth, and genuine kindness immediately put you at ease while you sample wines and enjoy delicious Parisian food. This is definitely a not miss experience. Being a Solo traveler, sometimes you're unsure of how an experience will go, but this was my most favorite experience in all the countries I've been to. Do not hesitate and immediately book this. You will not be sorry.

It was the BEST night of my month in Paris. Hands down, this is the experience you have to try. It was not cheap, but it turned out to be of great value. I joined another group while travelling alone; we soon began as strangers but became friends. No one knows Montmartre like Chef PJ. We went to places I had never heard of, taking back streets that seemed to be abandoned streets. He knows this neighbourhood like the back of his hand. I learned so much about wine and drank so much that it was well after midnight when I headed to bed, so give it a day if you are jet-lagged. There was also food, an abundance of it. My number one experience in Paris.

Best night of the trip! Chef PJ is full of interesting and entertaining stories that make you feel like you are a part of the neighborhood. We drank great wine and ate excellent food.

I recently went on the Montmartre Confidential tour with Chef PJ, and wow, what an experience! Chef PJ knows Montmartre like the back of his hand, and his stories are just amazing. He made the history of the area come alive. The views of Paris from Montmartre were stunning, and the places we visited on the tour were incredible. We hit everything from fancy spots to hidden local gems, each with its own cool backstory. He always seemed to know the owners, and they treated him like the Mayor of Montmartre! The food and the wine were top-notch, and I felt like I got a real taste of the city. I've been telling everyone I know that they have to do this tour when they're in Paris. It's an absolute must!

I took both PJ's tour (with Eating Europe and on his own) and the Picnic and had an idea of what to expect, or at least I thought I did. This is an authentic insider taste of Paris and a part of Montmartre not seen on the other tours. I cannot suggest it highly enough. It is upscale and quite exclusive; only six guests are permitted. There were 2 in my group and another group of 3. I want to tell you everything, but I don't want to give away the tour. I return to Paris quite often, and you can see from my reviews that I love this district. I learned things and discovered places I did not know existed. Look at the photo. My husband and I had a beyond wonderful time with Chef PJ. We ended up being the only ones and had a great private tour. We started at Chef PJ’s restaurant where we sampled many wines and learned about the way wine from the same bottle can taste different depending on how to drink it. Chef PJ also brought out escargot and foie gras. We had tried neither before but was pleasantly surprised at how much we liked it! Chef PJ also brought out an amazing beef and potato stew. We ventured to a variety of places throughout the night that Chef PJ tailored to us based on what we liked versus didn’t like to drink. My favorite part was the community surrounding Chef PJ and Montmartre. We met some of the kindest people throughout our night and learned so much about the area and its residents. Chef PJ is definitely a famous face in the neighborhood as everyone made sure to come say hi - it felt like being with a celebrity (in a good way) and all those people were warm and welcoming to us. They inquired about our lives and experiences in Paris and were happy to hear how much we were loving it. It’s very clear that Chef PJ is passionate about food, wine, community, and sharing it all with people. I will be booking this again next time we are in Paris! It was such a fun night!

There were five of us, and we had a private tour. I want to tell you all about it, but I don't want to give away the secret locations. The establishments were places we never would have found on our own, places we never knew existed. I did not know it was possible to learn so much about and taste so many wines at what never felt like a lesson but a party. Yet despite all the wine, I remember everything. We hesitated due to the price, but let me tell you, it was worth every penny. This is unlike any wine tour we have taken before. They have a chef opening a wine tour in Seville this winter, and now I can't wait to visit. This is a top-notch company; after two tours, I can say quality is key. Thank you Chef PJ
