La Reserva Biológica del Bosque Nuboso de Monteverde (Reserva Biológica del Bosque Nuboso de Monteverde) es donde se pueden encontrar algunos de los bosques nublados mejor conservados de todo Costa Rica. Es un bosque nuboso, no un bosque lluvioso, debido a su elevación de 4,724 pies (1,440 m) sobre el nivel del mar. Algunas de las mejores observación de aves se pueden hacer dentro y fuera de la reserva. Fundada en 1972, la Reserva Biológica del Bosque Nuboso de Monteverde se encuentra entre las reservas más famosas del mundo por su biodiversidad, conservación, contribuciones e investigaciones científicas. Estas 3.500 hectáreas de tierra contienen el 2.5% de la biodiversidad del mundo, y es una de las reservas privadas más importantes de Costa Rica. Su guía naturalista lo llevará por senderos bien mantenidos para mostrarle y enseñarle sobre la importancia del Bosque Nuboso y su microclima único. Es justo tener en cuenta que esta es una reserva privada para fines de conservación.

Really had a great time understanding the cloud forest and see the diverse flora and fauna. Was able to see the Quetzel and armadillo. The hummingbird gallery thing at the end was a nice end to the tour. Greibin was an amazing tour guide
Loved it, great guide, Justin! Go with him and you cannot go wrong. We say quetzl even and got amazing pictures and learnt a lot about the plants and birds.
Our tour guide Justin led us through the reserve and spotted and explained many plants fungi and animals such as an eagle and tarantula. It was a magical experience and Justin is a fantastic guide.

We hiked through the Monteverde Cloud Forest with Justin and it was an amazing experience. From the first moment he conveyed his passion for nature and his great knowledge about the flora and fauna of the place. Thanks to him we were able to observe animals that we would not have seen otherwise, including the quetzal, considered one of the most beautiful birds in the world! Each explanation helped us to further appreciate the beauty of the forest, and also Justin made the tour very enjoyable and fun.
