This tour was very good, we visited several beautiful places on the way to Kotor in Montenegro. Our guide Ana was knowledgeable and safe, she gave very good information about the history of Albania and Montenegro... The tour is well planned with suitable stops along the way. We were picked up at the hotel in Golem and were dropped off at the same place at the end of the tour. In terms of price and content, this tour is very well priced.
Great driver on windy roads. Ana was a very good tour guide- engaging with participants. Sufficient stops for water and breaks. Very hotday so a/c could have been cooler. Enjoyed motor but found it very busy either 3 cruise ships in
It was a long day, but totally worth it to experience Kotor, even with less than four hours there. Ana was very informative and gave us great recommendations on where to eat and what to do. The BBQ place she recommended was amazing! The border crossing process was smooth, and everything was well organized and right on time. They can also arrange to drop you off in Shkoder, which was very convenient for my travel plans. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommend if you have a short time in Albania and wanted to see Montenegro.
Everything super cute! We would have liked to have more time in Kotor, but the round trip also has its charm. I recommend it!
The trio met all expectations of a quick visit to Kotor. We got to walk around the old town and even dip our feet in the sea. Had an EXCELLENT meal at Tanjga that was just outside of the old town. The trip didn’t get 4 stars only because our transport bus was warm and the AC didn’t work great. BUT overall a positive experience and our guide Ana explained history and sights along the way. If you get motion sickness, it is a windy road getting in to Kotor. We left at 5 AM and were back to Tirana by 9 PM.
That the travel time is excessively long compared to the enjoyment time at the final destination
we had awesome time at tour ..our tour guide “Ana “ was highly professional, caring and good human being ..I highly recommend this tour with ana as guide .. Ghulam from 14/08/2026 tour
I traveled with my mom, we don't speak English, and we got off at the wrong stop. The bus driver mistreated us and yelled at us in front of other people, and the guide didn't make sure we were on the right bus. If it weren't for some people we met along the way, I don't know how we would have gotten to the hotel.
Very mixed feelings about this excursion; the landscapes are certainly beautiful, the city of Kotor is also very beautiful and has a lot of charm (special mention for the cats, who are residents in their own right ;) ). On the other hand, the stop at Sveti Stefan is very anecdotal since you literally stop for 10 minutes flat (and not 1 minute more) on the side of the road, just to be able to take photos from a distance. But above all, the trip is much too long from Tirana. We knew we would spend more time on the road than on-site, it wasn't a surprise, but even knowing that and preparing for it, it's frankly interminable. 3 hours on-site in Kotor for 12 - 13 hours of driving in total... the idea of doing 2 countries in a single trip was very appealing, which is why we chose this activity, but in reality it's not worth it; either you visit Albania, or you visit Montenegro, not both. As for the guide, she was certainly nice, I have nothing particular to say, but her explanations felt very "robotic," she was clearly reciting her speech and it really lacked authenticity. In short, I am happy to have been able to visit Kotor, but if I had to do it again, I would clearly choose to do another excursion in Albania that doesn't require so many hours of travel; in my opinion, it's not worth it despite the attractive price.
We booked this excursion mainly to go to Sveti Stefan, also seeing the photos in the reviews we expected to spend a day on the beach there. Ana the guide is a very well-prepared girl who speaks many languages Italian, English and German and told us many things, however during the trip we were told that you cannot access the beach in the summer because it is reserved for the resort, which is absolutely not true, I can understand if we were not in 2026 where there was no internet but with internet it is easy to document yourself. It was a disappointment! We saw Sveti Stefan only from afar... Not to mention the driver who drove terribly at the risk of the safety of all the passengers, several times he hit bumps without even braking making the minibus fly, overtaking on curves and braking an inch from other cars. I understand if you drive like that alone, but not if you are a minibus driver with people on board!
