Well run tour, on time. Guide Anna was great... kind, relaxed, interacted with everyone, clear with instructions/expectations. Driver was also great. Tour gave just enough time at each stop.
We bought i tour with a Spanish guide and picking up at the hotel royal neptun but nothing of this happened!!!!We had to walk to another hotel with the driver of a van that tb did not enter our hotel and happened the same on the return!!In our hotel every hour enters on bus, van...At no time had an explanation in Spanish..
It was a lovely bus trip. The driver and our tour guide were wonderful. Such a lovely young lady. Perast was a lovely little village full of charm and many pretty cats around. I was able to get my cat fix. Kotor was very nice but I found it was very touristy. And that’s just my opinion I’m not one for tourist hot spots. The boat ride from Perast to kotor was lovely and scenic . I can’t fault the tour or the tour guides it just wasn’t my cup of tea and I didn’t realise how touristy it was going to be. Lovely weather lovely tour.
We love this trip alot. Our guide, driver whole trip was 100% success!Montenegro is a beautiful and worth to see.
It was a very good trip. Everything was on time as planned. Our guide (Sandra) was very friendly and helpful. The trip with the boat was my favorite part. I would recommend it to everyone.
The boat cruise was nice and the scenery beautiful. The timing of the visits was good. The impeccable bus driver. Only problem: the Guide spoke too fast and became incomprehensible to non-English speakers.
While Kotor is beautiful, Select Dubrovnik was not a good tour provider. What a disappointment. They were late 30 minutes to pick us up. Given that it is such a long trip, this was unprofessional and disappointing start to our day. We thought we were in the wrong pick up area at first and had to phone them twice to make sure they were coming at their designated meeting point. The tour guide was polite but disinterested. She made little effort to engage with everyone. There was little group dynamic. There was some historical details at first. Then, when we were on the beautiful boat trip to Kotor, there was NO commentary at all. There were monasteries, towns and buildings where I was curious but had to do searches about after I got back to Dubrovnik. I just didn’t feel the guide was interested or approachable. Given the cost of the tour and the amount of hours the guide spends with the group, some effort should be made. The most disappointing and bad value tour I’ve ever experienced. An effort and some professionalism needs to be made. Phoning it in doesn’t cut it for such a full day touring. Don’t use this tour provider!
My wife and I took the tour to Bay of Kotor, Montenegro from Dubrovnik Hotel. Kotor was beatiful all around. The tour itself and specially the Portuguese lady/ guide were horrible. The breakdown goes like this, 4 +hours on bus, 2 hours at border crossing, 1/2 hour at some shopping center?, 2 hours total at Bay of Kotor. The tour guide lady rips you off for 2 euros each for an entrance fee to old town "Which is really free to get in" so she can go have her mussels lunch on you, and she's very un professional, talks about Yoga and spiritual crap the hole ride.
Montenegro was beautiful and well worth the trip. We did the small group tour and it was phenomenal. Our guide Patricia was great and gave us lots of information on the bus ride to Montenegro as well as recommendations on when and where to eat. Our Lady of the Rock was very interesting and Kotor beautiful.
We greatly enjoyed our experience. Our guide Aïda was exceptional as was the driver. Initially, we were reluctant because of some criticism that sometimes the wait is long at customs and that the air conditioning is not adequate, to which we responded that those who do not want to wait at customs should avoid travel. As for the air conditioning, the bus was very comfortable and the air conditioning did what it could in heatwave circumstances (32 to 35 degrees). In short, we highly recommend this excursion and highlight the great professionalism of our guide Aïda.
