Opciones de la excursión
Itinerario

We saw everything we wanted to see and experience in Montenegro. We enjoyed Kotor, the boat ride to the Lady of the Rocks island and Perast. The driver and guide took care of our border crossings. I highly recommend.
This trip was booked at out hotel the Komodor in Lapad. It was advertised as "Montenegro by boat" but it should be advertised as by coach with a boat trip as 8 hours are spent on the coach. We were told the coach had a toilet that did not work. In fact the toilet was working but was not in use as they could not or would not empty the chemical toilet and did not have the facilities to!! Unbelievable when a man first walked on the moon in 1969 and this is 2026. 32 people had been on the coach before the first toilet stop which was a shambolic mess at a shop after the border following four hours on the coach. Everyone dashed to the toilet, all wanting to use it at the same time. On the way back the border toilets were absolutely disgusting and all because we could not use the coach toilet! How does this company operate yours with coaches with no toilet facilities? Surely it is not that difficult to arrange for a service to empty the toilet? So unless you can control your bladder for a minimum of four hours I would not recommend this company as Hannah the tour guide said this was this company's common practice. As most of the time is spent on the coach you do not get enough time at two of the three stops. And they have the cheek to leave a tip box out for tips when you eventually leave the coach. We paid 160 euros for two people, there were 30 people on the tour equals a total of 4800 euros and all that for a coach without a working toilet!!!!!
This is a nice trip to Montenegro. The tour guide was sweet & helpful. And the towns we saw were so picturesque. I only have 2 complaints. 20 minutes on the island of the rock isn’t enough time. It’s hard to use the bathroom & see inside the church, especially if there are crowds, in only 20 minutes. It really needs at least 30. The final suggestion is for the tour guide in Kotor to have a microphone. She was great & full of info but with all the people & the other tour guides talking I was unable to hear anything she said. That was frustrating because I’d love to have heard the history of the buildings. Other that those things I enjoyed the tour very much.
Trip was well organised and informative, border crossings with smaller group were good.
Booked this day trip the night before at 9pm, great communication from the company was able to confirm and answered my question about pickup time and location still that late when pick up was 6am the next day. Was a comfy minibus, took us to Perast for a 45minute stop and then boat to the island for another 20mins before getting a 45min tour guide at Kotor with another 2-2.5 hours free time there which was enough to explore the old town and also hike up to the fortress overlooking the city. Would recommend for anyone wanting to do a day trip into Montenegro from Dubrovnik.
Excellent trip. Thanks to Obrad our driver and Rosa our guide. Rosa was very knowledgeable explaining the history of Croatia, Montenegro and the former Yugoslav countries. She organised us all very well. Kotor, Our Lady of the Rocks and Perast are very beautiful places to visit.
Beautiful scenery, buses on time and we had time to visit Kotor and Perast. Top guide as well as the Perast guide
What a gorgeous place! A lot of time alloted in Kotor, a bit more than 3 hours, this gave us enough time for a 45 min walking tour provided by this tour, sit down breakfast, the hike up to the church for the view, and some souvenir shopping. Gorgeous boat ride to the Lady of the Rocks and some more time alloted for a snack and walking down the one main street in Perast. 5/5 stars for this tour, our guide Sandra was also lovely!
The guide was very knowledgeable and the sights were amazing. Enjoyed the transport, description and sight-seeing.
We had heard so much about Kotor and were looking forward to this tour. However, we wished that we had just taken a bus on our own for the following reasons: - The guide was very nice, but didn’t do a lot except take us to where others would do the tour. Getting to the old town to meet the local guide was very stressful as we couldn’t see where the original guide was going among all the people from cruises. The actual tour wasn’t very long so we were on our own for most of the time we were there. - Once on the bus I was told that I hadn’t paid for part of the trip and owed 10 euros or we would have to take a cab to meet the bus. I still can’t figure out why. - The operator of the boat which took us to the island looked no older than 18 and seemed more interested in chatting up our guide than watching where he was going. There was also no step to help get up on the boat, so we had to haul ourselves up. - The tour was a full 12 hours, partly because of the border crossings which were out of the company’s control, but we couldn’t help but think that we could have done what we wanted to do in a shorter time had we gone on our own. All in all a disappointment - we could also have saved some money if we had gone on our own.
