Was really disappointed in this company. They refused to honor a request from Viator to reschedule our tour dates due to a mixup somewhere. So I paid for four people in advance and fid not receive any service. Buyer beware, a simple acknowledgement would have suffice but did not receive anything.
Highly recommend this tour! Our tour guide Miguel was so knowledgeable and gave us so much context and history. The site was beautiful and really interesting. Half day was plenty and it was nice to get there before it was too hot and be back for lunch.

Went into this not sure what to expect. But Miquel was so informative and excited about sharing the history of the people and the ruins that we couldn’t walk away and not be glad we made the trip. Definitely a must see experience!
Great service, and for once, they didn't pressure us for a review like so many other tours do! Transport was as smooth as can be expected up a mountain road. Our guide was excellent: the right level of enthusiasm without being over the top, excellent English, and knowledgable of course. We were given a good amount of information, and not just what was written on plaques, and then given about an hour to walk around the ruins and small museum ourselves.
You will meet in center of Oaxaca and travel in bus to Monte Albán. Our guide (Miguel) did such a good job of making the ruins come to life by providing more context and even highlighting additional artifacts with use of magazines. We would never have gotten as much from our tour without Miguel's expertise. We really enjoyed his approach! We had about 45min of "free time" after the guided tour finished to look at the ruins in closer detail and visit the indoor museum. Go early because it will be hot! Bring water. There is a small restaurant along with the museum for drinks and snacks. We then traveled back to the city center on the bus.
Our tour guide is an excellent guide. His knowledge of Monte Alban was very impressive. We learned a great deal about the Zapotec civilization: culture, linguistics, traditions, astrology, etc. We will definitely recommend him you our friends and family who plan to visit Oaxaca.
