The staff were the highlight of this trip! They really went above and beyond to ensure we had the best trip possible. Special mention to Leo, November, Ely and Remi who were super friendly and helped make the trip memorable. The rooms were super clean, generously sized and the view from the balcony was stunning! However, I think the cruise was a bit overpriced and could benefit from adding more activity time, such as more time to swim and kayak. The food was also average at times. The buffet lunch on day 1 was terrific, but dinner and brunch was pretty average (dry and tough meat). All in all was a good experience though and staff were fantastic, I just think for the money we payed there should’ve been more activities and better food.
Had a great time on the cruise; I would recommend to friends and family. The rooms were modern and very clean and cool. The views were stunning. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to help out and also had great personalities, special shoutout to our waiter Remy who was amazing in the dining room. Leo, November and Ely really made a difference to our experience during the activities and at night time, they have beautiful, genuine personalities and they would be the reason I will recommend this cruise. In terms of the activities I believe there was not enough time for swimming and kayaking and would have liked some beach or island time. I don’t believe squid fishing should be offered during off season, and another activity should be offered in its place. Overall had a great time on the cruise, I’m just unconvinced of value for money.

It was one of the highlights of my 10 day trip in Vietnam. Me and my family absolutely enjoyed it. The staff are soo welcoming, I literally feel like I’ve made life long friends with them. Ann the F&B manager, November, leo and Tammy all were the best people I’ve met here. Excellent job and so hardworking. I appreciate them so much and they made our stay so much more enjoyable. They take care of you very well.

The staff of Mon Cherie cruises are the most professional, friendly and hospitable people ever, who made our trip a delight, from booking until the end of the cruise. Thank you Tam, Jimmy, Leo, Ann and Ducky ❤️ Cabin was well appointed, stunning views and so comfortable, with a great bathroom. Food was wonderful, beautiful and plentiful!! And the service…impeccable. The crew made our anniversary a highlight of our trip and spoilt us. If you are considering a cruise on Ha Long Bay, we definitely recommend Mon Cherie Lan Ha Bay cruises. You are less crowded, well looked after and this is the sweet spot in terms of value for money!!
We have booked this cruise as a farewell ending to our Vietnam trip. The boat is mid- size with four levels, a swimming pool and an upper deck terrace. The boat tour is great- the staff is very friendly and welcoming to all the guests. Happy to help out in any way possible. There are several activities you can enjoy such as kayaking, swimming, and visiting a cave system. Our server Ben was very sweet and took great care of us during breakfast - dinner. Overall the atmosphere was lovely with beautiful nature surroundings.
Excellent first cruise experience! The room was clean, the views were spectacular, the kayak trip was really good, but what really stands out for me is the friendly staff! They really did everything to enhance our experience even more. Special compliments to Jimmy who really made us feel that we have a personal butler on board.
The views were great and the food very good. Enjoyable side activities. Our room was stunning (front cabin). Ducky was a brilliant and attentive waiter, always finding what we needed.
