What a fun way to see Milos and see places only available to see by boat! The boat was comfortable and food was excellent and crew attentive to dietary restrictions. ! Our crew was AMAZING! Emilios was our guide who kept us very entertained! iThe swimming stops were beautiful and fins and masks and noodles available on board. A wonderful way to spend a day in Milos!
It was an amazing experience with the most attentive crew taking care of us and enjoying the day with us. The places were so beautiful, the swimming stops were long enough to really kick back and enjoy and the food provided was delicious.
This tour was exactly as advertised. The problem is that I apparently did not read the advertisement thoroughly enough. You leave around 8:00 a.m. and return around 7:00 p.m. Water, soda, snacks, and lunch were provided. For reasons known only to my optimistic imagination, I was expecting cold beer and cocktails. Instead, there was warm white wine being poured from recycled water bottles, which somehow felt very Greek. The beaches were absolutely stunning—remote, untouched, dramatic cliffs, crystal-clear water. Truly gorgeous. Also… they were REMOTE remote. As in: • No beach bar. • No bathrooms. • No umbrellas. • No popsicles. • No ice cream. • No little old Greek lady selling watermelon. • No possibility of dramatically calling a cab and abandoning ship. Just you, nature, and your life choices. What I somehow failed to appreciate before booking is that “three beach stops” also means SEVEN HOURS on a small rocking sailboat to get between them. Full sun. Full send. Full practically sitting on another tourist’s lap for seven hours. I personally threw up three times. This is not the tour’s fault. This is a “Tia should have recognized that she enjoys ARRIVING by boat much more than EXISTING on one for seven consecutive hours” problem. The crew was genuinely kind, helpful, and worked incredibly hard all day. The scenery was spectacular, and if you love sailing, you’ll probably think this is paradise. But if someone asked me whether I’d rather spend seven hours on a boat or three… I’ve learned that three is my magic number of hours. By hour four, I wanted an ice cream. By hour five, I wanted a dock. By hour six, I would’ve accepted a Coast Guard rescue. By hour seven, I was negotiating directly with Poseidon. Five stars for the scenery and the crew. One star for my own decision-making.
Unfortunately our trip was affected by the wind so we only had 4 stops and couldn’t do the Northern side of the island at all. The team at Sailing Milos tried to make the day as fun as possible but the wind was so awful at times I would have preferred the day was cut short rather than staying out there for the sake of it just because we’d paid for a full day. There was a lot of unnecessary waiting around too which was a bit frustrating especially after a very long day out, once everyone got to shore we waited about another hour for our bus. The staff were fantastic and tried to make things as comfortable as possible but I think it’s too long a day out and maybe a bit overpriced.
Exceptional crew, so very nice and fun. Despite strong winds, adjusted schedule to allow the day to still go ahead. Schedule was still fantastic, went to 4 swimming stops and even did some Greek dancing! Food was very nice and substantial also.
The boat trip circles the island. It is a full day, lots of great food, good conversations and spectacular sights. It was the best day of our 14 day, wonderful vacation. I highly recommend. The crew are fantastic and make sure everyone has a great time!
We had an amazing day, stopping in the most beautiful places with lots of fun context provided by our host Marilena who was so helpful and a joy. The full day boat trip was quite long! We had a few stops to swim and the last one was at about 3:30 for 1.5hr where we had lunch which was a chicken dinner pasta along with Greek salad. The journey after that was quite long so next time I would probably do a half day as it’s enough. There were quite a few people on the boat so none of us had much space, we also got on the wrong boat as the communication at the port wasn’t great so we followed a different group going to another boat as no one took our name at the meeting point which was about 100m from the pin which I was sent to meet at.
Excellent excursion to get to know the entire island and its points of interest! Very healthy and quality food and snacks! Emilio and the crew were super attentive and friendly! Providing many details of what was seen in a fun and pleasant way! 100% recommended. We did it on the first day, which then allows you to choose better where to go!
The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, with crystal-clear waters, dramatic coastal landscapes, and some fantastic spots for swimming and relaxing in the sea. It’s an excellent way to experience the beauty of Milos and Polyaigos in a single day. Keep in mind that there is very little shade and the seating can be quite hard, so be sure to bring plenty of sunscreen and come prepared for the sun. The food is fairly simple and basic, so it’s best to enjoy it as a light meal rather than expect a standout dining experience
Amazing, good food. Great spots amazing people who explain the history and the fun. Would recommend!!!
