We had so much fun hiking with Moises and seeing the amazing views of the volcano & lake. He was very helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. Would recommend booking this tour!
The hiking was easy and I really enjoyed the nature on the trail. The crater was stunning too. The guide, Diego and he was absolutely amazing! Very informative and helpful I’ve travelled almost 40 countries and I can tell he was the best guide I’ve ever met. I will definitely do other tours if I visit El Salvador again
What a great experience! It’s not just because of being out in nature & experiencing Santa Ana Volcano but because of our tour guide Diego! He is knowledgeable, friendly, passionate about his country. I learned a lot about El Salvador. It felt like going on a hike with a friend. Great driver too. He took us to a nice restaurant with a view of Lake Coatepeque. Would have loved to book more tours with him! Thank you Diego for sharing your country with us. Hope to meet you again! 🙂
Great experience - request DIEGO, He is the best guide and speaks really good English.
Amazing experience. Diego, the tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable. I really am looking forward to traveling with them again.
That tour is AWESOME. Life changing. Never in the world I thought I could see a volcano. Our guide, @Josue Romero was phenomenal. He made us feel welcome and took the time to give us a short history of not only the Santa Ana volcano, but the surrounding volcanos, lake and national park. They took us to Lake Coatepeque where we ate a local restaurant and then went on a Jet Ski ride in the lake. The experience was incredible. They pick us up at the hotel and drop us back. I highly recommend them. Ask for @Josue to guide you. You’ll thank me once you see how other guides you’ll encounter take their people.
Diego was an amazing guide! Super knowledgeable and made the trip smooth and fun. Muchas gracias 🙏
We had an incredible experience, and I can’t recommend this tour enough! Our guide, Josué, was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He reached out the day before our tour and was even able to accommodate my family’s request to be picked up from a location that wasn’t listed on the booking site, which we really appreciated. On the drive to Santa Ana Volcano, Josué shared the history of El Salvador and its volcanoes, making the trip both educational and interesting. We asked him countless questions throughout the day, and he happily answered every single one. Since our group included both English and Spanish speakers, it was a huge bonus that he is bilingual. Everyone felt included and could fully enjoy the experience. Once we arrived at the volcano, Josué continued to go above and beyond. He hiked the entire trail with us, gave us plenty of breaks when we needed them, kept us motivated when the climb got challenging, and made the hike so much fun by chatting and laughing with us along the way. He also turned out to be an incredible photographer and made sure we left with amazing pictures to remember the day. I’d also like to give a special shoutout to our driver, Josué, who was fantastic as well. He got us safely to every destination and back, knew the roads extremely well, and made the entire trip smooth and comfortable. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience, and we would absolutely book this tour again with Josué. If you’re thinking about hiking Santa Ana Volcano, don’t hesitate—you won’t regret it!
