One of the best experiences of our Sweden trip! Craig and his team were friendly and knowledgeable, the dogs were clearly well cared for, and the whole activity felt authentic rather than commercial. The Quad training tour through the forest was great fun, and meeting the huskies afterwards made it even more special. You can really see the passion behind this place. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone who loves dogs and wants to experience a different side of Lapland
Hi Guys, thank you very much for spending time with our magical Huskies here in Kiruna, they like to see new people. Regards, Craig xxx
It was amazing every Monet the workers were great the dogs were truly amazing anyone should do this if the love dogs and if you don’t you will regret it
There you go, thanks so much for the kind words Finn. Craig
There wasn't enough snow to take a sled tour so they hitched the huskies to an atv for a training run. This was still an awesome experience. Being able to see how well the dogs are looked after and how much the dogs love running in what was cold to me. The team were very professional going about their business and showed much respect to the dogs. Afterwards we had a reindeer stew in their smoke hut. Great conversation was had with the team and the other participants.
It was fantastic to have you, thank you so much for the review. Much love. Craig, the Dogs and the Snowdog team.
Amazing experience with the Huskies and the team! There wasn’t enough snow for dog sledding but we were offered an ATV guided tour instead and it was truly worth it. Incredible to see how the dogs were getting exited before the tour. The staff was very nice and friendly and after the activity we enjoyed some snack and played with the little three-months-old puppies. Highly recommended!

The walking season is not yet open, due to lack of snow. However, we were able to participate in dog training and visit the kennel. Unlike other kennels, dogs are treated extremely well and the boss (Scotsman pure juice) and his staff are dedicated to their well-being throughout their lives, from birth (we saw 5 adorable puppies and their mother) to retirement, and throughout their ‘working life’. We can’t wait to go back in the middle of the season to make some excursions in this area that we love so much.

This has been one of the best experiences of my life! The personnel picked us up from our hotel and after a relatively short ride through town we arrived at the lodge. We received equipment to protect us from the cold weather (it was -18 degrees Celsius). That included a second pair of wool socks, overalls, gloves and even neck and / or head protection for those that didn't have any with them. We got introduced to the Huskies and played and cuddled them and after a brief walkthrough of how the sleighs work we began our tour through the forest and the frozen lake. The scenery was magical. We were blessed with a clear sky, a full moon and an extraordinarily active aurora borealis. We just felt as if we lived in a fairytale. Then we returned to the lodge, got changed into our own clothes, drank tea and ate reindeer stew by the fire in a small cabin. Truly a magical experience which I would recommend to anyone visiting the far north of Sweden.

We had an amazing time! I went with my husband and two daughters (ages 9 and 11). My daughters sat in the sled while my husband and I each steered a sled. It was incredible. The views were spectacular, the dogs were friendly and happy, and the crew was amazing! I cannot recommend more highly… this is a must if you are in the Kiruna area in the winter.

This was such a great experience. We were desperately looking for a dogsledding tour and had a recommendation to contact snowdogs.Craig, the owner, and his staff are so warmhearted and friendly. The dogs are just amazing and love to be cuddled. The tour throughout this beautiful landscape was the greatest experience on our trip to Swedish Lapland. Pure fun. Absolutely recommendable!
Came all the way out here from Vancouver canada to do this dogsled tour. Excellent experience and craig is a hilarious fella. Its one thing off my bucket list now.
