Únase al conde de Thomond para un glorioso banquete en este majestuoso castillo de Bunratty del siglo XV. El Earl’s Butler da la bienvenida a invitados de los cuatro rincones del mundo brindando por una era de gran sabor irlandés con excelente comida, buen vino y hidromiel. Cuando llegas al Bunratty Medieval Castle Banquet, un flautista maltratado toca una canción de bienvenida. Ascenderás los escalones del castillo cruzando el puente levadizo hasta el "Mordisco de la amistad" ofrecido por una de las azafatas. Al entrar al Gran Salón resplandeciente con tapices y muebles del siglo XVI, saborea una copa de Mead mientras te relajas con las Damas del Castillo. La historia del castillo está relacionada, seguida de un Madrigal medieval. Sea testigo de la coronación del conde y la dama antes de descender al salón de banquetes, donde los asientos de banco, las velas y las largas mesas de roble reflejan el estilo de banquete de la era medieval. Mientras disfruta de una suntuosa cena de cuatro platos con buenos vinos, deleite con los dulces tonos de las Damas del Castillo acompañadas de Irish Harp y Fiddle. El mayordomo busca la aprobación del Señor para todos los platos que se le presentan. Sin embargo, se revela un sinvergüenza que debe ser llevado ante el conde que decide su destino. Truly enjoyed this evening. Great location inside a beautiful castle, the food was very tasty and there was plenty of it. The performers where wonderful especially the violin and harp,
Definitely a great night of fun , good food , wine and entertainment. Loved the authenticity of this 14th century Castle. The overall experience was well worth the price and included access to the early village of Bunratty. The period costumed actors performed throughout our 2 hour banquet and kept us all engaged with lively banter, hillarious interactions with guests and lovely Irish singing and music. The actors also delivered our 4 course meals in a timely manner. Each course was delivered hot and was delicious.
I’ve been to many Renaissance fairs over the years, but this Medieval reenactment was on a completely different level — the most authentic and enjoyable one I’ve ever attended. Truly the highlight of my time here in Ireland. My family and I dressed in full Medieval attire, and not only did we fit right in, we actually got to be part of the show. It was an absolute blast. Even though we arrived about 30 minutes late, the staff went above and beyond. They searched for us after the gates had already closed and still made sure we got inside quickly and comfortably. Their kindness and hospitality made the night even more memorable. If you’re ever in County Clare, I highly recommend the Bunratty Castle Medieval Banquet. It’s an experience you won’t forget.
A wonderful night of food and entertainment, well worth doing if visiting Bunratty Castle and can fit it into your schedule.
We had so much fun at the banquet. Definitely a theatrical and unique experience. We drank mead and wine and had plenty of food. Loved meeting other people visiting Ireland as well. Food was soda bread & soup, vegetables, chicken, dessert and coffee or tea at the end. It wasn’t 5-star food, but decent. The actors, singers, musicians are very talented. One of our favorite parts of our trip.
Our evening at Bunratty Castle was great! Everything about the experience was enjoyable; delicious food, delightful entertainment and attentive service. We would definitely recommend this experience!
The medieval banquet was a great experience. The location in the castle and the entertainers all in costume was very authentic. The entertainment was wonderful and the food was really good. I would highly recommend this experience.
Great time. Good food and music. Full evening does not end until eleven o’clock. Count on 70 E for round trip taxi from Limerick.

So much fun! The entire experience was delightful. I loved being greeted by the bagpipe player in full regalia! The costumed characters were professional and welcoming. Their singing was beautiful & the violinist was the perfect accompianament to our feast. I personally loved the mead & bought a bottle at the airport later to bring home. The meal was delicious and I appreciated the vegetarian option. If you have any mobility issues be aware that you will be climbing a lot of ancient stone stairs!
