Great adventure - def recommend the via ferrata and the zip line. Thank you, Julio
Awsome experience! The guide was full of energy, funny, knowledgeable, and took many great photos of us with his camera so we could enjoy the experience more without worrying as much about taking photos. I highly, highly recommend this!
This day was amazing! Julian picked us up at our hotel, and communicated constantly for planning. The drive was far to get there, but incredibly worth it. The facility Was clean and safe, and the zip lines were thrilling! So high above the canyon! The hammocks were a unique addition I’ve never seen before. Terrifying and thrilling at thrilling time! 450 ft above the waterfall was insane!!! Highly recommend this tour! And Julian spoke great english, and gave us incredible information and insight into the area and experiences!
We booked the waterfall, zip line and hammock tour with Julian & Julian as our tour guides. We also did atvs and canyoning the next day with them. I had the best time I think I’ve ever had. I don’t think we could have ended up with better tour guides! We had so much fun with them and the experience was unreal. Our guides were always on time and having fun with us. Also very very accommodating, and we had a large group. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the cities!
I had found this 6 months before my trip but forgot to bookmark it and took me forever to find it again, but was determined because this combines all my loves—hiking, zipline, waterfalls, craft beer and hammocks! The Zipline was relaxing, nice & long over the valley with great views of the river & waterfall. (Not a fast zipline so great if someone is a beginner.) Relaxing in the hammock above the waterfall with a craft beer made on site was divine! Completely safe because you are tethered to the cable. I am also not afraid of heights. Then we had an amazing soul cleansing by standing at 3 different spots, progressively closer to the falls to feel her power, spray washing over you and the wind created from the force of the falls. (This is optional, you do get completely soaked but it is very grounding & rejuvenating). Instead of hiking back up, we hiked part way then had the opportunity to tether in and climb the rocks beside the waterfall, so fun! And the relaxed sitting on top watching it rush over the edge. Finished off the day with a great meal prepared on site in the open air restaurant with excellent views of the mountains. I’m vegetarian and they made me a falafel plate. Truly incredible property, nice staff, flowers, birds, adorable cat. And they also grow coffee there and you can do coffee tour as well as a brewery tour. Tried all 3 they brew and liked la roja y la negra the best. The APA was good & refreshing, just not as hoppy as I’d like. My guide Julian was both a great driver and provided lots of info on the areas we passed en route as well as about the property. Do yourself a favor and book this.
booked a private full-day tour and it turned out to be such a special, personal experience. My guide picked me up right from my hotel in the morning and dropped me off there at the end of the day, which made everything feel effortless and comfortable from start to finish. We went hiking, visited a stunning waterfall where I could swim, tried some local food, and experienced an incredible zipline, including relaxing in a hammock suspended high above the scenery. It all felt so unique and thoughtfully planned. The entire day flowed perfectly. The car was very comfortable, the driving was smooth, and I always felt safe. My guide was genuinely kind, attentive, and very knowledgeable, not just sharing information, but really making sure I was enjoying every moment. It didn’t feel like a typical tour at all, it felt like a truly personal experience. I left with amazing memories and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for something meaningful and unforgettable.
I booked a private full-day tour and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish. We went hiking, visited a beautiful waterfall where we could swim, and even got to try some local food, which made the experience feel even more authentic. One of the highlights was the zipline, especially the moment relaxing in a hammock suspended above the scenery, such a unique and unforgettable experience. Everything was perfectly organized. The car was comfortable, the driver was great, and the entire journey felt smooth and safe. The guide was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, always making sure I was comfortable and enjoying every moment. I truly loved this experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something special and memorable.
We had a beautiful day, lucky with the weather. Our guide Julian was very helpful and took the time to explain some of the spiritual connections he felt to the Salto del Buey. The walk down to the waterfall was maybe 20 minutes and we stripped down to shorts to get drenched by the spray. Our group split so one member could do rock climbing on the way back. It was quite challenging for a relative novice. We did the hammock and got left out there for some extra time. It was a nice warm day with condors circling overhead. After that, excellent ajaico for lunch, then ziplines over and back above the waterfall. Then back to Medellin along some bumpy roads and with some heavy traffic. A great day.
A great day trip option to get out of Medellín. The zipline is long and beautiful, the waterfall is impressive and powerful, and the hammocks were our absolute favorite! Also, our guide, Julian was very nice, accommodating, and puntual. Worth noting: The hike to the waterfall is short but steep and the road to the site in general is bumpy, windy, and “off road” style for anyone not accustomed to Colombian mountain adventures.
Everything was AMAZING! Julian was the best. I highly recommend everyone to go.
