Visite las iglesias antiguas, conozca el contexto histórico y artístico de las magníficas estatuas de bronce del maestro Botero, suba a bordo de los teleféricos aéreos y disfrute de una vista espectacular de la ciudad, camine junto a su guía experto y sienta el ambiente en la comuna, o 'barrio', para ver cómo la gente vive y sobrevive en el día a día. Conduzca por el parque del Poblado en su camino hacia el centro de la ciudad.
Conduciremos cerca de Ciudad del Río un nuevo vecindario moderno cerca de Poblado.
La primera parada es en el centro de Medellín, donde quedará fascinado por las magníficas esculturas del maestro Fernando Botero, uno de los escultores más famosos del mundo. Lleve una cámara decente, ya que sus guías han tomado todos los cursos de fotografía y estarán encantados de tomar imágenes perfectas de postales que abrazan estas esculturas de gran tamaño para sus recuerdos. Desde aquí, el recorrido continúa a pie para sentir realmente el ambiente del centro de la ciudad y experimentar antiguas iglesias coloniales, plazas, el impresionante palacio cultural y mucho más.
Caminaremos por el palacio y los huéspedes podrán conocer la historia de este magnífico edificio de estilo neogótico mientras su guía lo ayudará a obtener fotos de buena calidad.

Vamos a dar un paseo por el parque para ver la primera estatua de Botero donada en la ciudad por Fernando Botero, el famoso artista colombiano e invitado. Conoceremos la historia de este parque y su relevancia en la ciudad.

A continuación, suba a bordo del Metrocable, un sistema de teleférico que está diseñado para aliviar el tráfico, mejorar el transporte urbano en general y acomodar a los ciudadanos, permitiéndoles disfrutar de la conectividad de sus respectivos barrios con el metro y otros medios de transporte. Este robusto y bien mantenido teleférico lo llevará a su próximo destino, la biblioteca Santo Domingo Savio, un moderno edificio parcialmente donado por el Rey de España. Tendrá la opción de bajarse aquí a caminar para ver la vida real en una comuna con su guía que conoce bien a la gente y al vecindario. Por último, los huéspedes serán dejados en su alojamiento en el mismo vehículo cómodo en el que fueron recogidos alrededor del mediodía.

Veronica, our tour guide, was friendly and informative. She showed us a variety of attractions downtown and she took us on a cable ride. We particularly liked the sculptures of Fernando Botero in Botero Plaza. Veronica even helped us make dinner arrangements at the end of the tour. The only issue we had was a lack of air conditioning in the vehicle used for transport. It was a hot day and the car ride became quite uncomfortable at times. Carl and Joe

One of our vans had a flat, so instead of cancelling your tour, we paid more money to subcontract another transport service. Apparently, that guys window in his vehicle wasn't closing all the way to the top, thus the air conditioning was going out through that crack. We were unaware of the slight problem with his window. Nevertheless, Veronica should have informed us immediately and not after your review. She won't be eligible for the quaterly bonus, as we must maintain our level of 5 star excellence. However, she is part of the team so as a team, we all take the hit and apologize for the inconvenience. We just wanted to save your tour from being cancelled. Hi, first off, you were 35 minutes late! Normally we mark you as a no show, for being that late. We didn't even charge you extra for making our guide and driver wait and covered all the sites without cutting anything out. Also, don't forget that you added Arvi Park to your tour! Remember, this was a private tour, not a bus tour. As it is, this is the most inexpensive tour we have. Sorry, we don't work for minimum wage. We do quality tours in fluent English, are licensed, insured and make our guests happy. You can't please everyone, but 99.5 % of our guests appreciate us and love our tours. They are solid and great guests who come here to support our cause for sustainable tourism, not people who come and complain and nickel and dime for every single thing. Anyhow, cheers.
The tour was informative, it was fun to ride the Medellin subway, and the cable car was a unique experience that took you approximately 1000 meters above the city for amazing views. You shoukd be prepared though, Arvi Park is not what mist Europeans or North Americans would call a "park", but rather a conservation area. Overall it was an enjoyable tour.

I loved Commune 13 and the resilience of its people, for me the top 10 of Medellin. It is amazing that the second most dangerous place in Latin America has become a tourist attraction and that all its inhabitants work as a team to make it a fantastically attractive place: urban art, trova, dancing, food and much more are the attractions of this colorful and charming urban space.

Carlos was a very knowledgable guide and, with our tour group being only two, he was able to cater the afternoon to our specific interests! He showed us how to take local transportation and did an excellent job of explaining all the sites we visited and the local culture.
