A big disappointment

I was unable to progress beyond the starting point despite numerous attempts. As a result the "tour" was a big disappointment and a waste of money.

We will come back!

It was great! This is repeated.👍 Just the trip to Holmenkollen and the hikes there are a unique experience. The restaurants in Akerbrugge are also an experience.

Unable to find the path.

We ordered six audio recordings of the Akerselva River and successfully downloaded them before our trip. However, our experience quickly turned frustrating when we couldn't find the Akerselva River path for the audio tour. Despite walking around Oslo for two hours, we were unable to locate the starting point. In a final attempt, we decided to take taxis, splitting into two groups since there were six of us. Unfortunately, even the taxi drivers struggled and ultimately failed to find the Akerselva River path, dropping us off at the Opera House instead. Each taxi ride cost us $28, adding to our frustration and disappointment. To improve future experiences, I highly recommend providing clearer and more detailed directions for your tours. Given our significant efforts and the additional expenses incurred without being able to enjoy the tour, we kindly request a refund for this unsatisfactory experience. Thank you for your understanding and attention to this matter.

Hi there, I'm sorry that you were unhappy with your experience. When you were having difficulties finding the starting point, did you contact VoiceMap support via email or telephone? We could have assisted you immediately. VoiceMap guides listeners to a tour’s starting point in three ways: 1. Buttons to get navigation from either Google Maps or Apple Maps 2. A photo of the starting point 3. Text directions that are listed under "Tips for getting there" in the app and under "Directions to Starting Point" on our website Some tours start in places without a physical address like a park or square. This can make finding the starting point confusing so while we try to include a physical address in the text directions, this isn't always the case. Information about where to park or which public transport to use is provided where possible. Please email us at support@voicemap.me so we can look into what went wrong here. If you weren't able to take the tour, we will process a cancellation and full refund. Regards, Brent

Nice meandering walk

This was definitely worth the small fee, but a little bit of a pain to download the app. Once we did, though, it was really nice to hear a bit about what we were walking past. Added value to the experience!

A perfect Sunday stroll!

We thoroughly enjoyed the audio guided walk. We learned so much more about the area and we could travel at our own pace. It was perfect for a Sunday walk - a lot of the street artist were out and we picked up some great gifts then continued our guided walk.

Akerselva a pearl in Oslo

Akerselva is a pearl. Walking from Frysja to Bjørvika along the river is just an experience, so much to see and experience, about 10 km slender down. New impressions all the way, and many nice cafes and restaurants underway. It's just to suck in while walking, have a good time.

A new experience

A new experience, a quiet walk, know the essence of the city. Know some history, the non-tourist and more traditional area.
