This was just a so-so tour and quite disappointing on several levels. Susanna was very entertaining, friendly and knowledgeable (she reminded you of that when asking for individual tips for her and the driver because they worked for separate companies, she said). The tour was overbooked, and two guests had to get on another van because there were no seats for them. Our tour was rushed and more emphasis was placed on specific shopping stops at the market and jewelry store. (They may get some kind of kickback as to why certain vendors are targeted and you can't venture to other ones.) We spent more time in the overpriced jewelry store than we did in the cathedral. We didn't get to take pictures by the Beetles statutes, which were a stone's throw from the overpriced jewelry store nor by the Mazatlan sign. I wouldn't book with this tour company again but maybe try another one. I just felt way too rushed.

Our tour guide Susanna was a delight and our driver Luis was excellent. This is probably more a me problem in that I thought there would be more walking time in the market and at the Mazatlan sign. It felt rushed at the market. I feel there should be 30 or 45 minutes for a person to walk around at their leisure. Also, it was disappointing not to be able to stop and take photos at the Mazatlan sign. However, Susanna was entertaining and shared some great facts with us.
Thank you for sharing your feedback! We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the company of Susanna and Luis, and that they contributed to your experience in a positive way. We also appreciate your suggestions regarding the time spent at the market and the Mazatlán sign. We understand how important it is to have enough time to explore and take photos at your own pace, and we will take your comments into consideration to improve the tour experience. We're grateful for your kind words about Susanna's entertaining and informative approach, and we hope to welcome you on another tour in the future.
The tour was very rushed. Our guide seemed to rush through areas that might be interesting and take us to specific shops in the markets that she knew the people. We went to a jewelry store and wasted a lot of time there that cold have been better used else where. The only part that was interesting was the cathedral. The tour was with Vista Tours in the 15 passenger van.
Many thanks for your comments. We share them with the guide so he explore a better way to program the activities confirmed. We hope we can serve you soon, with a new service to change you mind of our services.
There was very little offered on this tour. Very little history given and few points of interest. One stop was to watch a man jump off a rock into the water where we were encouraged to tip him. Another stop was to a silver jewelry store. It was a waste of time. The tour guide was a nice, personable man. And the driver was polite.
We regret that the visit did not meet your expectations, we reviewed with the guide, driver and places visited corroborating that it was granted and fulfilled according to the stipulations of the shared ride, which seeks to cover different aspects of interest for all participants; We very much appreciate your comments, which undoubtedly help us review how we can improve our tours. For our part, the option of purchases and tips is always left to the consideration of each passenger, the clients who kindly hire our services. We appreciate the good comments from the staff and that you enjoyed the points of interest visited in Mazatlán.
A fantastic experience for our first trip to Mazatlan! Guide Eduardo and Driver Mike were awesome. The guide grew up in this area and has great history as well as personal stories to share. I learned so much - and had so much fun! With only 15 people on the tour, got a chance to meet some other travelers too! We were staying at Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay and had AL so your was only $20USD PP - a bargain! Tour includes a group dinner at Casa 46!

We have taken this tour 4 times and still enjoy the trip! For $20 per person (all inclusive Pueblo Bonito guests) a bit more if not, it is a bargain! Eduardo (Lalo--don't call me Eddy) has always been a fun tour guide and even has a few new stories/jokes at each trip. Enjoy the history of beautiful Mazatlan in a small group atmosphere. Dinner included at Casa 46 is always delicious. Thanks Eduardo and Manito!

There are a lot of reasons to love Pueblo Bonito and the City Tour is one. For $20 (with meal plan) or a little more without, we spent more than six hours touring the beautiful city of Mazatlán ending with an awesome meal at Casa 46! Why is there an accent on Mazatlan- you’ll find out. Why is north beach south of, well, a lot of things? You’ll find out. Stars of David on a Catholic cathedral? Cliff divers? Check and check. Flower markets and fish markets? Whichever smell makes you happy In English and Spanish, Eduardo ( don’t call me Eddy) informs and entertains. We have enjoyed this tour on every visit to Mazatlán and look forward to taking it again next year.

This was an amazing tour of the city of Mazatlan! Our tour guide, Akino, was very knowledgeable and spoke English very well. We spent a decent amount of time on the bus going from place to place, but he made sure we got to see a variety of local trades/crafts like some HUGE shrimp at the market as well as a flower bouquet that looked like a poodle (both of which he brought onto the bus for us to see up close)! We had plenty of little breaks to stretch our legs, look around, take pictures, learn a little of the city's history and do a bit of shopping at the market and in the Golden Zone (although I could definitely have used more shopping time!!) In the Golden Zone, one of the shops offered us a free drink and did a raffle for a free pair of earrings which we were all entered into. Afterwards we went to El Tequilita restaurant and learned about the distillation process involved with making tequila from the Agave plant and were given the opportunity to sample their family-made tequila! It was a wonderful way to get to know the city you're staying in!
Thank you so much for your comments, it will be such a pleasure to attend you in a near future on your next vacations to Mexico! Best regards
David the driver and Susana were wonderful tour guides. I appreciated so much Susana's first hand knowledge and passion for her wonderful Mazatlan. I learned so much about the Mexican culture. By the end of the tour we felt like we had made new friends. Thank you Susana and David!!
