Great experience. Very patient staff and flexible. Amazing show. The kids were amazed. The best part, they had a kids buffet and for adults free drinks. Overall great experience.
Very exciting Luau. Was like 2 1/2 hours. The show was great. Good music. The food was excellent. Got free drinks. Was able to see the show. Very comfortable and spacious. All the staff did an excellent job. Great performers.
In my opinion, the event started too early. My family and I basically sat there for an hour with nothing to do before food was ready. Only appetizers that were provided were a few pieces of pineapple and edamame. Service was not great. Seating was outside located in a pavilion which provided little to no breeze so made it very uncomfortable. The food was pretty good. Dessert was lacking with very few options. We also had to share a table with another family, which we were not aware we had to do when when we paid for premium seating. Also, my seat was probably one of the worst in the pavilion considering I had to turn around every time someone was on the stage. the price wasn't nearly worth it.
The show was very energetic and entertaining. We loved the storytelling, the fire show and the food! Our group ranged in age from 11-72 and everyone loved it!
The show was awesome, a lot of food and drinks. Seating is assigned so there’s really no reason to wait in line at 5:30. There is plenty of time before dinner and the show once your group is seated. They take pictures and you can shop for some Hawaiian swag. I don’t think I saw the knives but the show was still entertaining, interesting and informative
The artistry and storytelling of the performance was amazing!! Beautiful to watch and provided great historical context. Food was delicious for a buffet style. Servers were attentive and friendly. I would have preferred a more natural setting as opposed to this staged venue
Dancers were really great -- both the men and women had a ton of energy and the MC dancer was top notch with his explanations and information. The evening begins with drinks (open bar), selling of Hawaiian goods and trinkets, and professional photos, all of which is fun. Next, the dinner buffet is enormous and plentiful, pretty good quality for mass quantity buffet. Also a very tasty dessert bar. But for sure the highlight was the dancing, which happens after the sun goes down. We were near the front but by the side so we could watch the band as well -- the drummers and the musicians were really talented. The dancers were amazing!! It was our first luau so we are not experts, but we thoroughly enjoyed the show -- the dancers were putting in 100% effort, so impressive.
Wao amazing!! We are in the incorrect hotel arrive just in time and the service and attention was espectacular!!!
This is a very boring luah. There is no knife show and the fire part is the last 2 mins. Literally falling asleep. Food is okay but good option for kids. Easy to access if on the resort but in Honolulu had one of the most fun and intricate outfits and story telling luah so this was just disappointing. No cool outfit changes or even upbeat performances. Wouldn’t waste my money on it
I traveled with my family (very young children) and it was a great experience! The storytelling, the dancing, the music... Everything was so moving. Everyone clearly enjoyed their role in the event- including our server who was asking about our travels and was open to recommending local attractions! We were greeted with a free Mail Tai or non-alcoholic beverage and a lei! That was lovely! The food was the only negative part of this review was the food. The adult food options were definitely abundant. However, I just felt like everything was very very salty. The meat options and the fried rice- I get it, but it was eating the ocean. The performers were just marvelous though. And I certainly felt an appreciation for the culture.
