Maui Mid Day Magic Whale Watch

Captain Emma and Captain Lainey and all the whales around us showed us a great time! We saw breaching whales, momma and baby whales, escorts-at least two or three. The captain's were expert in informing us about whale behavior and where to watch for them as they swam beside, in front of and under our boat. Could not have been a better day! Highly recommend!

Our family went whale watching with Shannon and Allison and it was a wonderful experience. It was a smooth ride to get to the whales and we were lucky enough to see a mom baby and an escort. I love how excited Shannon and Allison were to see the whales too. Whale watching is always my favorite part of visiting Maui and Maui Ocean Adventures was spectacular and I am so glad we chose to go with a smaller boat rather than one of the giant ones. We could have conversations with Shannon and Allison and just pick their brain about whales and humpbacks specifically. These two have such a wealth of information and I am so happy our family had the opportunity to be on this trip with them. Can't wait to come back!

Maui Ocean Adventures - first class, women owned business, complete with a pink boat! We had an epic experience with our Captain and First Mate Lainie (she does have the best name!) But their service starts from the moment you contact them. Top notch communication, respectful and kind when weather caused our first booking to be cancelled and incredibly flexible in rescheduling. We liked that the capacity is limited to 20, giving a personal experience. It is evident that these women love their work, and their guests. The cleanliness of the boat was refreshing. The educational pieces were informative, and appropriate in scope and length. The dry boxes provided for your belongings were just one of the many small details that set them apart, and at the top of the list. We will be back. Crew was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic! Boat size was great, max 20 people so there was no worry about having someone block your view. Would definitely book this one again!

We had the best day whale watching! We saw so many baby whales with their mamas and it was a truly amazing experience! Mindy and James were great guides. They had great energy and were very knowledgeable. I would definitely book this tour again next time. We also loved that it was a smaller boat and smaller group of people.

We did this two times. Nice small boat, around 18 people. Half in shade. Not a zodiac so easy on the back. Smooth ride, but can go very fast. Saw lots of whales, and they have a hydrophone so you can hear them. Very knowledgeable and a wonderful trip both times

The captains on this trip , Shannon and Lainie, showed great enthusiasm and engaged all the passengers throughout trip. They answered every question and shared their expertise and knowledge with all. We saw so many whales especially babies that breached multiple times. Their love of what they do every whale season shows through and is contagious. Be sure to get to the Mala Boat Ramp and take a trip with MAUI OCEAN ADVENTURES before whale season ends.

We saw many whales and dolphins on our trip. The boat had areas of shade and sunshine which were great. Our group was small with about 18 people that made it nice. The captain and crew were very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information about both whales and dolphins. It was a little difficult to hear their comments and a microphone would have helped. They were very accommodating as I could not remove my shoes due to health reasons. This is an excellent company that I would highly recommend!
