Terrible experience with this company. I have scheduled this tour at least 3 times and it has been cancelled every time. I have never experienced such poor customer service with a food tour company. I would not recommend booking with them unless your schedule is very flexible and you have backup plan just in case it’s cancelled at the last minute.

Food was excellent and very plentiful. There were a good many people on the tour, and we enjoyed interacting with them. However, the tour would have been boring otherwise, since it took so long to get our food at each one. The best food tours move quickly and include 6-7 stops with small portions at each one. Improvements would be faster pace with less downtime, guide updating each next restaurant of timeline before leaving the current stop, more stops - even with higher ticket price, and more history and info about the city being shared. Amanda, the guide, was friendly and interacted with everyone. The tour has potential and would be very enjoyable with a few changes.

Guide did not share much information about the city or the buildings we were passing. She did not keep the group together and the people at the end missed most of her conversations. The restaurants selections were not great. At one our samples were taco and french fries. One of the restaurants didn't seem to know we were coming, she had never been there, and we waited much too long in a hot day. She was not attentive to the guest while we were at the restaurant, spending time on her phone.

This food tour was very mediocre. There were 4 stops, and the food was not that original to Indianapolis. Dessert was ice cream and at one of stops our table was not ready. Everyone in the group felt it was a long wait,and that they should have been more prepared for us. Not too much local information given during tour

Amanda, our guide was fabulous! She was knowledgeable and has the perfect personality for a guide. We all enjoyed her as much as all of the venues visited during the tour. Thank you!!!

Great group, Krista our guide was awesome and even added some extra interesting stuff about the area into our tour which we loved. We went to 4 places. 2 had really good food. The other 2 the food was okay, but the places had a cool atmosphere so they were worth going to. My mom and I enjoyed ourselves and seeing as there isn’t a lot to do in Indy we would highly recommend.

The food is great. Large portions and you definitely get fed well. However the tour guide was a disappointment. She wasnt very interactive, didnt feel like she knows the story of the town. Feel like she got a map and script and was told to memorise it, and but failed to do so. At one point we even lost 2 of the group members and she didnt even notice… The trip would have been alot enjoyable if we had the tour guide i had in New Orleans.. he’s still by far the best tour guide I have ever had.

This was completely different from other food tours we have done. But in a negative way. The guide was not interactive and public speaking was not her thing. Just kinda bland. Food was fine though

Communication was excellent. Our guide texted before meeting. It is probably unrealistic to plan on free parking so other parking options would be helpful in that text but otherwise it had all the info we needed. It was a good selection of food, really more than I had expected. It was nice to learn some history of the area. Our guide was very nice. Our group was small (8) which made it really easy to be able to listen. We had never done a food tour but will definitely look into doing them in other cities.

The tour guide seemed to be very nervous and unsure of what to do. Unfortunately, she did not know much about the historic facts of the city and one of the other tourists were filling her in on the history. She was very nice, pleasant, and easy to talk to but needs more experience. The food was mediocre at best. I understand that the Rathskeller is the oldest restaurant in Indy but the food is not good. I also understand that two of the restaurants on the tour recently closed and the Taste of Indy Food Tours were scrambling to find replacements. The new restaurants, especially the ones in “The Garage”, were not prepared for us. Arrangements were not made in advance to have seating for all of us so once we got our food we had to cram in a table with other people, then walk and eat to stay on schedule. The best part of the meals was the ice cream at the very end. I know this can be a better tour, especially for $73!! So disappointing all around.
