After more than forty years as an airline pilot, I’ve been fortunate to travel to nearly every corner of the globe, both as crew and on my own. Along the way, I’ve relied on a number of travel advisors and tour companies, especially in countries I was visiting for the first time — including several in South America and, most recently, Morocco. My wife and I have just returned from three weeks in Morocco, and it was a truly exceptional trip. Our journey took us from Casablanca to Rabat, Chefchaouen, Fes, Merzouga, Marrakech, and Essaouira. Planning began over a year ago, and from the start, I focused on finding a company run by Moroccans who live and work in the country and could offer genuine insight. Moroccan Imperial Tours consistently rose to the top. I worked closely with the owner, Youssef, for nine months to shape what became a once‑in‑a‑lifetime experience. His guidance, patience, and flexibility were unmatched. I’m a very detail‑oriented — and at times demanding — planner, yet every adjustment I requested was handled thoughtfully, with our interests and safety always the priority. Even mid‑trip, when I asked for a change to our itinerary, the modification was made immediately and without any additional cost. Any small issues that arose were addressed promptly and professionally. We were also fortunate to be paired with an outstanding guide, Omar, and an equally exceptional driver, Mustapha. For three weeks, their sole focus was ensuring our trip was memorable in every possible way, and they succeeded. In summary, our experience with Moroccan Imperial Tours was extraordinary from start to finish. The planning, support, professionalism, and genuine care shown by Youssef and his team created a journey we will never forget. I recommend them without hesitation to anyone seeking an authentic, expertly guided Moroccan adventure.

On our way to Essaouira, we stopped and saw how the famous Moroccan Argon Oil was made. Once we arrived in Essaouira, we were surrounded by a beautiful landscape of ocean and local culture. It was a really amazing experience to see the local fisherman selling their fresh catch! The food was delicious and our guide was incredible. His passion for the town he grew up in was evident! At the end of the day, we were able to ride camels on the beach! It was wonderful!! Everyone at Imperial Tours made us feel like we were VIP travelers and I would definitely recommend using them. Having a trustworthy tour guide in Morocco is a must as trying to navigate it your own would be close to impossible. With them, we were truly able to immense ourselves in their beautiful culture.
