Ilyas and his driver are the best team! Very nice and relaxed trip to the Agafay Desert, great sunset, a worthwhile experience!
Amazing experience great value for money. Will definitely recommend
We cannot say enough wonderful things about Ilias. He was so accommodating and made sure we were comfortable throughout the trip. He did an amazing job and we would recommend him to our family and friends. Thank you, Ilias! All of the stops on the tour were beautiful. We did not feel rushed and we felt like we were able to experience a lot. The restaurant was beautiful and the food was delicious. Of course, the sunset was beautiful.
This was an excellent excursion for our stay in Marrakech! It was very easy to book on booking.com and at a great price. Our guide Ilias was in contact to organize the pickup near our riad in the Medina. The mini bus we took stopped in a few places to have some tea and see how they make argan oil products. The women there were super nice and not pushy with sales. Another stop was a new view over the desert with some more tea. Then the final stop was at the place we had dinner. Cool place with great views. Typical Moroccan food like harira, tajine, and couscous. They also had beer and wine available for purchase if you are interested. Overall is was a very nice evening with my partner and our guide Ilias made everything super comfortable and enjoyable!
We were a family of 4 and were looked after by Ilias. He was a thoughtful guy and made sure we were comfortable at every stage of the trip. The experience was divided into 3 phases: a visit to an artisanal argan oil production site, a stop in an elevated area to admire the landscape, and finally dinner with a show. The food was definitely better here than in many places in Marrakech that customers have rated between 4 and 5 stars. And the bathrooms were clean even though we were in the desert. Clearly do not expect sand dunes, it is a predominantly rocky desert but fascinating nonetheless. The live music is folkloric in style, intended to engage and get guests dancing by creating fun little scenes; consequently, it is not intended as relaxing background music for dinner. Alcoholic drinks are expensive (I paid 75 dirhams for 33 cl of beer) but it is understandable considering that dinner, transfer, and the show cost very little (€ 20.50 per person) and this business model tends to shift the profit elsewhere. The fire show was worth it. I would definitely repeat the experience.
