Very nice experience. Our guide did a great job.
Throughly enjoyed the cave day and I was amazed to be able to see millions of years of history all in one spot. Thanks to Solly and Sanbella for a great day and excellent customer service getting my hat back to me before I flew out.
It was a very interesting experience to visit the museum and the cave. The agency was excellent in communication, punctuality and education of guides. Lots of interesting information.
The caves were incredible! The tour guide was very nice and funny and had a lot of knowledge about the caves and was sharing a lot of interesting facts with us. Very interesting and beautiful caves with a great history behind it. Definitely worth a visit.
Visiting the museum and the caves was a big and beautiful surprise for me, really a journey in time and ancestry. I thank the agency and especially Guia Sabelo for the excellent tour. The guide is extremely punctual, polite and patient. He briefly explained to me some facts and other curiosities. I really liked it and recommend it.
The Marapeng Museum was incredible! Our guide was well-versed in the discoveries of our ancient ancestors. The caves were also amazing & our guide knew about the geology of them and he was excellent. My driver, Sabelo, was very safe & knew the area quite well. Everything about these experiences was perfect from the ride there to the ride back. Thank you for an amazing day! John R. - USA
My driver / guide Sobelo was excellent and told me so much about the country. He made the long drive very pleasant. It was very informative seeing the history of evolution based on the historical finds in the caves and I really enjoyed the boat ride in museum
Evie, our tour guide had our plans changed when there was a shortage of tour guides for the Sterkfonfein Caves due to the large number of students at the time. Therefore, we opted to visit the Cradle of Humankind visitor center. It was a great move. We had a great overview. Sterkfontein Caves were exciting, humbling, and physical. Our guide led us safely through narrow passages where we climbed, stooped, and at points crawled through one of the world’s most important fossil sites. The air underground stays cool, so bring a light jacket. Fair warning: it’s a workout. I’m six-foot-two and came out sweating, but every moment was worth this visit. I highly recommend this event with the above order, however.
The Maropeng museum is modern and engaging, and the Sterkfontein Caves are simply awe-inspiring. Our guide, Sabelo, was the standout of the day—knowledgeable, passionate, and funny. Highly recommended!
Everything was seamless from pick-up to drop-off. Sabelo was also really nice. He was telling our group stories and information we wouldn’t have known if we were not part of the tour. Definitely recommend this! Thank you so much!
