Muralla del castillo de Marbella El único fragmento que se conserva de las fortificaciones medievales de la ciudad: una fortaleza morisca que resistió hasta que cayó en manos de los Reyes Católicos en 1485. El punto álgido, tanto emocional como histórico, del recorrido.
Las estrechas y sinuosas calles de la época morisca fueron demolidas para crear esta plaza del siglo XVI, de estilo típico castellano.

Great early afternoon tour learning about Marbella. Javier our host showed us the great contrast between the modern Marbella city and coastal area to the ancient old town tucked right in the middle. We explored the narrow streets and alleyways, saw 16th century palaces and chapels, learned the unique history and got great insight on what to do after our tour. Plaza de los Naranjas was so cool. The afternoon concluded with an olive oil tasting where we sampled close to 20 premium varieties. Absolutely loved it and Javier was great. Highly recommend.

Great tour. Guide was very knowledgeable and gave very good info on the history but also was very flexible to take us to areas of old town that were very fun to see. Was here during the holidays and he took us to some of the spots that were decorated. The private olive oil tasting was one of the highlights of our trip
