Terrible experience! Booked through Trip Advisor who arranged with Arena Yours. Was booked for a 0930. Time came and went. NO ONE from Arena Tours had any identifying shirts or a flag. Made it hard to find out who was were supposed to meet with. All the other operators we questioned (who had identification and THEY did not know who was with Arena). Finally, found a guy handing out water who directed us to a gentleman had a sign but was sitting on a rock near the metro. At 930 the young lady tour guide we were assigned took our info. At 945, was told that we were delayed and that Trip Advisor said that we should have been informed, and it would be a few minutes more mostly likely 1000. 950 the Operations Manager Maxwell Karpazian told us that we would be delayed to 1015. 1015 we ask what is the delay, he said we should have been advised that we were to start at 1030. I asked then why would they not advise us at 930 because we had another tour scheduled after the one with them. Maxwell blamed it on Trip Advisor, told us nothing he could do. Had to leave to make the next trip. At 1025, no one from 1030 group was there when they should have been there at 1015. We could not be delayed past 1030 in order to make the next trip. USed Viator for 5 other experience, and Tiquet for one other. Fantastic experiences in Pompeii, Sorrento, and Positano with those operators. Buyer beware with Trip Advisor and their partner Arena Tours.
Your review contains several inaccurate statements that we need to correct. At no point did anyone from Arena Tours blame Tripadvisor or Viator for the schedule change. As soon as we were informed of the updated departure time, we made several attempts to contact you on the phone number provided with your booking the day before the tour, but there was no answer. We then sent you a message informing you that the tour had been rescheduled to 10:15 AM. When you arrived, our staff informed you of the updated departure time. Unfortunately, you decided to leave because you had another activity scheduled. We understand that this was inconvenient, but the claim that no one informed you is simply not correct. Regarding the meeting point, our representatives are present at the designated location before every tour with an Arena Tours sign, and our staff also assisted you once you arrived. We stand by the accuracy of our communication and the service we provide to our guests.
This tour was amazing!! We had the lovely Milo as our tour guide and he was truly so knowledgeable and had a real passion for history! Me and my friend came out of the tour feeling inspired to learn my of the Roman history and would highly recommend booking this tour! The exterior tour I believe was better as you were able to take your time and milo was able to explain more about the colosseum! Thank you Milo!

Tour was bought & scheduled for 10:30AM. Upon arrival, after trying to find tour guide, one of the members walked us to group, where shortly after the tour guide relayed the tour started at 10AM! Poor Viator scheduling, no notice, indistinct identification for the specific tour as there are many. The tour guide himself was phenomenal!
The tour start time was updated, and a notification with the new meeting time was sent to you the day before the tour through the Viator messaging system. We understand that this may have been missed, but we always notify our guests in advance whenever there is a schedule change. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the guide and appreciate your kind words about their work.
Nothing like was advertised!
The tour was delivered exactly as advertised. This is an exterior guided tour, and the product title and description clearly state that it does not include entry to the Colosseum. We encourage all guests to carefully review the tour details before booking to ensure it matches their expectations.
We didn't join to the group because we couldn't find them! Meeting was on the metro station but there was nobody! 54 euros for nothing! Give us money back!
We are sorry to hear that you were unable to join the tour, but the meeting point is clearly indicated on your voucher: outside the Colosseum Metro Station, next to the green kiosk. Our representatives are always there at least 15 minutes before the tour starts, holding a clearly visible Arena Tours sign. If you were having difficulty locating the meeting point, you could have called or sent us a message using the contact details provided on your booking. We always respond and do our best to help guests find us. Unfortunately, we cannot issue a refund when guests do not arrive at the designated meeting point.
Very bad experience, we searched for the guide for more than 20 minutes, we lost the morning and the money, it was a scam, there was no signage, the meeting point was unclear, a waste of money and time, they should be reported for this poor service, they are not qualified to attend to tourists, with this experience you never want to trust this site again.
