Excursión al Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio

Geraldo was an amazing wealth of knowledge and had a great sense of humor. He not only spotted the unique animals but had a special scope so we could see them up close. He sent us a free link of all the animals and videos he took with the special binocular so we could download. He made the day special by arranging a surprise birthday cake for my mom at the lunch after our tour. It was delicious and so thoughtful. We saw so many animals up close that we would have never have seen with a guide! It was such an amazing day! The beach was spectacular and beautiful. If you continue on the path toward the exit the second beach area is much less people.

Andrey was superb from start to finish and his knowledge of the wildlife, crafted over the last 20 years should be applauded. He was funny, kind to all the family and made the tour fun. An absolute gentleman and Thankyou for a wonderful experience.

Geraldo was the best. Saw some awesome species and he gave lots of great info. Very well respected among all the guides in the park.

Wow wow wow. What an incredible experience! We did a private tour with Mauricio (and his son Dejan, who was an expert at siting creatures large and small) and it was well worth it. They were so knowledgeable, took their time, found so much wildlife and had high quality scopes for us to get up close views. They made the trip fun for everyone! We saw sloths, white faces monkeys, howler monkeys, squirrel monkeys (such a treat!), an anteater, iguanas, basilisk, colorful land crabs, bats, and other lizards. Our group of 6 ranges in age from 9 to 75, and one is recovering from knee surgery with limited mobility. We were able to navigate the trail with a combination of crutches and wheelchair with some effort and all were able to enjoy. The beach at the end was BEAUTIFUL and the perfect payoff. Be sure to wear or pack swimsuits! I can’t say enough about Iguana tours and Mauricio & Dejan. From pre trip communication to parking and all through the guided hike, these two deliver a top notch experience!

Our guide Felipe was fabulous , we saw so many animals and wildlife. We had a fantastic group of ten and the tour was a nice pace , not rushed so you could see alot. Felipe was fun, professional and very knowledgable. Our visit to the beach and the monkeys were a highlight. Felipe also recommended a local restaurant after the tour that was also delicious.

We had a wonderful time at Manuel Antonio National Park, thanks to our guide Mauricio. He did an excellent job of spotting wildlife and explaining the ecology of the park.

Wonderful tour of the park - wouldn’t have gotten even a fraction of what we had without Andy! He was so knowledgeable and focused. We were in awe of what was around us abs his skills and expertise made it possible.

Great tour by Gerardo. The whole process from booking to pickup to drop off was flawless. Iguana tours takes care of all the details— you just meet at your hotel and they take care of everything. There’s a refreshment, lunch, time at the beach, and most importantly expert nature guidance with Gerardo. He was amazing spotting animals and getting us views. The animals are difficult to see without his expertise. Also the park is very crowded and he is appropriately assertive in getting good positioning for viewing. He is also very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about nature. The tour is so worth it and very well done. You will not be disappointed. You also get amazing videos and photos that he will send you. He takes them on his phone with a special lens adapter so you can just enjoy the tour.

Andy was a phenomenal guide! We saw so much wildlife that we would have surely missed without him! He is very funny, kind, and patient, making sure everyone on the tour got a look at the animals spotted along the way. He took the best photos of any guide we have had so far and even recorded a couple of short informational videos of the animals. This tour was particularly special for me as Andy was able to show me a Potoo bird! He also made sure everyone had the photos he took before we left! Cannot recommend this tour enough! Lindo Andy! 😆

Mauricio was a great guide. Very informative and funny. Would highly recommend. We saw lots of wild life and did the tour at our pace
