It was just enough trailing and animal/creature seeking. Our tour guide, Albin, was super nice, went along at our pace, and even taught us some Spanish. It was worth having someone point out things you probably wouldn’t have seen on your own. The beach was nice but we forgot to bring bathing suits. Albin helped us take photos and create unforgettable memories.
Our guide was Albin Gutierrez and he did an amazing job. He had a really sharp eye and could spot things that we didn’t notice and on top of that he was really good at taking pictures of the animals that we found. It is definitely worth having a guide for Manuel Antonio National park they will see things that you will not even notice and it makes the experience so much better. If you do get a guide Albin Gutierrez is a great option.
Albin was a fantastic tour guide he was able to spot so many animals that I never would have been able to find. We were able to see sloths, capuchins, bats, toucans and many more animals!
Our guide Albin Gutierrez was very friendly and knowledgeable regarding all the wildlife in the park. He spoke Spanish and French. We had a great time with him and got to see multiple animals. I would go back anytime.
My daughter and I were led by Albin Gutierrez. He was kind, accessible and knowledgeable. He had an amazing eye for the most hidden creatures as well as information on them and their relationship to the rest of the ecosystem. Albin was patient with our questions and friendly. We were joined by a couple who didn’t speak Spanish and he managed to guide us using both English and Spanish easily. Something I would recommend is that travelers bring along beach attire and towel. We were unaware that there was a beach inside the park and we could have stayed for a dip following the tour. Also, have a substantial meal prior if you expect to walk an additional trail after the tour and before your beach visit. Food at the park is pricey and not fantastic. That however is true of any major attraction. We had they recommend this tour and Albin in particular. Other guides knew him and acknowledged his skills as we passed.
Manuel Antonio was beautiful and our guide, Steve Vargas was fantastic. He was really knowledgeable and able to spot so many different animals. He was so personable and patient and answered all of our questions. We got to see all the monkeys: white faced, squirrel, and howler, sloth, raccoon, crocodile, iguana, cool grasshoppers, crabs, lots of insects. Highly recommend!
Albin was an incredible guide! I can’t believe how many animals he managed to spot, including tiny creatures and well-camouflaged wildlife that we would never have seen on our own. His knowledge of the park was excellent, and he took the time to explain everything and make sure everyone could see the animals through his spotting scope. He made the tour unforgettable, and I would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Manuel Antonio National Park!
You definitely need a guide to go through Manual Antonio Park and you’ll be lucky if you get Albin. He is fantastic! He could spot things that we never would’ve seen without him. We saw sloths, monkeys, bats, lizards, crabs and many interesting insects and plants. He is deeply knowledgeable, he took the time to explain things fully and answered our questions thoughtfully. He is also a very nice man and was a pleasure to be with.
We toured Manuel Antonio park with a guide and I am so glad we booked the tour! We saw so much wildlife that we would not have seen otherwise. Our guide, Albin, was great. He was friendly and knowledgeable and an expert at finding wildlife. He also used our phones to get excellent photos and videos up close through his scope. A sloth just looks like a blob in a tree from a distance, but the up close views we got with the scope were incredible. I highly recommend booking a guide.
Alvin our tour guide was incredible! Funny, knowledgeable, and catered our tour to what we wanted to see. We lucked out with the variety and amount of different animals we saw
