Jay was a wonderful host and has clearly put a lot of passion into curating a balanced and authentic experience for travellers. Going on her tour at the beginning of our trip helped us avoid overly touristy markets and find good food throughout our trip as we knew what to look out for.

Jay is a very thoughtful, kind, and knowledgeable guide. She is a local in the neighborhood and knows the vendors well. We learned a lot about the local cuisine and had opportunities for try a lot of delicious food! We had everything from Tteok-bokki, to Hanwoo beef, to a big bucket of fried chicken with beer (and soju). She is very prepared and carries an uncanny number of supplies in her backpack! Our whole family, including our daughters were able to enjoy the tour. Highly recommend!

Jay was a fantastic guide and the experience was delicious, informative, and pleasant. Jay came prepared with everything we needed, and we felt like celebrities going through the local Mangwon market where everyone knew her. All the recommendations were strong and we tried some delicious foods we would not have tried otherwise, like the kimchi pancakes. The hanwoo 1++ was otherworldly and cooked to perfection by Jay. Would definitely recommend.

This was easily one of the best food tours my partner and I have been on (and we have been on a few). Jay was extremely welcoming, knowledgeable and prepared an itinerary which allowed us to try a wide variety of Korean dishes. We were so full by the end of the tour (so make sure you don’t eat beforehand) and we felt like we gained a deeper understanding of Korean food and found some new things we may never have eaten ourselves. Particularly the Mangwon market was very cool, not touristy or over-crowded with lots of amazing food. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, so far a real highlight of our trip to Seoul. Also, Jay has excellent English which really helped with the tour.

Jay is a thoughtful, knowledgeable and friendly guide. The stops on this tour give you the full spectrum of Korean street food from fried chicken to tteobokki and gimbap. Great way to learn about Korean culture and sample some wonderful food along the way.
