Además, la Gruta Azul atrae a sus aguas deslumbrantemente azules y sus imponentes acantilados de piedra caliza, prometiendo una vista como ninguna otra. Vittoriosa, Senglea y Cospicua, conocidas como las Tres Ciudades de Malta, son piezas de la historia viva mantenida viva por cientos de años de preservación, y el milagro ocasional. Las ciudades fortificadas se asientan como un trío de pueblos en el corazón del centro histórico de Malta, directamente al otro lado del Gran Puerto de La Valeta.
Marsaxlokk es especialmente conocido por los muchos luzzus en su puerto. Al fondo se puede ver la iglesia parroquial de Marsaxlokk dedicada a Nuestra Señora del Rosario - La Virgen de Pompeya. Los luzzi tradicionales y otros buques más grandes y modernos bordean el puerto interior protegido.
El sitio prehistórico más antiguo de Malta, Għar Dalam, atrae a los visitantes a emprender un viaje a una época anterior a la habitabilidad humana, cuando animales como elefantes, hipopotami y ciervos rojos deambulaban por el desierto prístino de la Edad de Hielo.
Una maravilla natural, la espléndida Gruta Azul es una red de seis cuevas, con las vistas más impresionantes y las aguas más claras que las islas maltesas tienen para ofrecer. Idílicamente situado en la costa sur, esta es una de las atracciones naturales más populares de Malta.
Ħaġar Qim es un antiguo complejo de templos megalíticos en Malta, que data de 3600–3200 a. C., conocido por su impresionante tamaño, alineaciones religiosas y astronómicas, y una arquitectura única que utiliza enormes bloques de piedra caliza. Como Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO, cuenta con un templo principal con cámaras interconectadas y una estructura separada más pequeña, y destaca por una alineación de solsticio que destaca una piedra central. Aunque no se conoce su propósito exacto, los estudiosos sugieren que era un lugar sagrado para rituales y culto al sol, como lo demuestran hallazgos como altares y estatuillas relacionadas con la fertilidad.
Situados en la costa occidental de Malta, a 253 metros sobre el nivel del mar, los acantilados de Dingli son la parte más alta de la isla. Los acantilados se convirtieron en una atracción popular para los turistas que visitan Malta, dirigiéndose allí para un paseo tranquilo con vistas de Filfa y el mar Mediterráneo.
Situado en la parte sur de Mdina, la encantadora ciudad de Rabat (Malta) tiene una red de calles en forma de estrellas y hermosos edificios con balcones tradicionales de madera Gallarija. La ciudad, que se transforma de la mañana a la noche cuando los turistas regresan a sus destinos, tiene muchos atractivos. Cuenta con catacumbas, iglesias y mosaicos romanos. También tiene una merecida reputación gastronómica, con cafeterías y restaurantes que sirven la mejor cocina maltesa. Una visita obligada a Malta es ver los mosaicos en la Domus Romana, una gran villa que data del siglo I a. C. que, durante el período árabe en el siglo XI, estaba cubierta por un cementerio musulmán. Otra visita obligada es visitar las Catacumbas de San Pablo, que datan del siglo III a. C., que se utilizaron para enterramientos durante 500 años. También debe visitar las Catacumbas de Santa Ágata.
Mdina es una ciudad medieval fortificada encerrada en bastiones, situada en una gran colina en el centro de Malta. La ciudad era la antigua capital de Malta, y con sus calles estrechas, pocos habitantes y hermosas vistas sobre la isla es realmente una ciudad mágica.

Gerald was prompt. The itinerary was as advertised and I was able to see lot in 4 hours including a beautiful drive which Gerald chose over the faster route. The countryside is gorgeous. My disappointment with the excursion is that while Gerald is a very good driver he knows next to nothing about the sites he took me to. He couldn't answer the most basic questions. He told me he does this almost every day so I would assume other customers have made the same observation. I might have booked it anyway because I had very limited time. Perhaps I should have said I wanted a driver who had some degree of knowledge to share. I just assumed that was a given for a guided tour.

Regarding the information provided, you never booked a guided tour. However, as a local with 37 years of experience, I always do my best to share as much knowledge and local insight as I can. We were absolutely thrilled with this tour. It covers a significant portion of the main sights in Malta. Since we wanted to make the most of our short stay, this was an extremely efficient solution. We covered the remaining highlights (Gozo, Blue Lagoon, etc.) on a second day via a boat trip, which gave us the perfect combination in the end. A big thank you to our very nice driver! He was incredibly flexible and kept us well-informed throughout the drive. Thanks to his interesting facts about the island and his helpful tips on how to manage our time at each stop, the day ran completely smoothly. It was exactly the customized experience we had hoped for.

Gerald was an exceptionally punctual driver. He reached out to me two days and one day before our meeting to confirm the location and time. He arrived on time, and we enjoyed a tour customized to my interests. I had the flexibility to spend as much or as little time as I wanted at each location, so there was no wasted time.
