La ciudad de Malaca (también escrito Melaka) es la capital del estado costero de Malaca, en el suroeste de Malasia. En su centro, Jonker Street, la principal vía de Chinatown, es conocida por sus tiendas de antigüedades y su mercado nocturno. En las inmediaciones, el templo chino Cheng Hoon Teng del siglo XVII tiene decoraciones ornamentadas y múltiples salas de oración. Un techo verde de 3 niveles remata la mezquita Kampung Kling del siglo XVIII, de influencia javanesa.

Lugares y horarios de recogida
La recogida y la entrega gratuitas son solo para hoteles y residencias ubicados en las cercanías del centro de la ciudad de Kuala Lumpur, que están a 10 km de radio de las Torres Gemelas. Por favor espere en la entrada del hotel y su conductor lo recogerá desde allí. Para las recogidas fuera del centro de la ciudad de Kuala Lumpur (hotel de las afueras), se requiere un recargo de RM 80 por coche por trayecto, que se paga directamente al conductor en efectivo.

We had a fantastic experience with THS Tours and Travels during our trip to Malacca, and a special thanks to our driver, Selvam! It was great to visit Melaka and, for the amount of time we had, we managed to see quite a lot. In hindsight, we would have preferred to travel independently by bus and stay overnight to have more time. Despite being advertised as a night tour, we left around 7pm, before sunset, so it didn’t really feel like an evening experience. Our guide, Kelvin, took us to a Portuguese restaurant where the food was delicious. He had plenty of information to share, without it ever feeling overwhelming. One small suggestion would be allowing some free time in the shopping streets — it felt a little awkward going into shops with a guide following, and we would have enjoyed the chance to explore independently before regrouping. Overall though, Kelvin was an enthusiastic guide, who looked after us really well.
Our guide Gan was friendly, helpful and flexible. He took time to explain various historical landmarks. I’d definitely recommend him to others!
