Koala watching in the great outdoors you can't force, wildlife watching doesn't always succeed, but the Westpoint is a wonderful place for the sunset, our guide Tim was very accommodating and could tell a lot about the island, gladly again
We had such a magical experience watching the sunset at West Point! 🌅 The scenery was absolutely beautiful and made the whole evening so special. Anna, our tour guide, was amazing! She knew so much about the area and shared lots of interesting information with us. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Magnetic Island! ✨

This was a genuinely unique experience travelling to the far side of Magnetic Island where there are no proper roads, no electricity and no running water. Not somewhere you would probably access without being on this trip. We saw a koala and joey in the trees on the way. The sunset was magnificent and our guides were truly passionate and informed about the local ecology. The food and drink was the perfect finishing touch!

Although not the perfect sunset but who cares when we can enjoy West Point beach with a drink, a platter of food, an entertaining group and a full moon. We loved the history and ecology lesson from Tim on the way in and the chance to see a Koala with its child on her back. The overall experience was complemented by Tim’s wonderful commentary at West Point. We enjoyed the tour immensely.
