Overall, I had an excellent experience with Yapa Explorers. What made my experience even better was having Samuel F. as my guide. He was with me every step of the way and is very knowledgeable in the history of Machu Picchu. Sam made sure we took breaks when I got winded as we walked up to the viewpoint and he even carried my bag to help lighten my load. Plus Sam knew all the best spots to take pictures and is an absolute pro on how to get the best photo angles. Make sure to ask for Samuel F. to be your guide for Machu Picchu!
All my experience was great. Organization, timing, the tour guide, weather, transportation, etc. Had a great time in Machu Pichu and really enjoyed the full day experience.
Great experience did all the tours
Excellent! The Guide was waiting for me and took all the time to explain the whole Archaeological complex. Congratulations on the
Our experience with yapa explorers was great. It was well layed out and easy to understand. We had a meeting before going where a representative layed out the travel we'd need to take with an itinerary and printed out tickets. The journey there passed through beautiful scenery both in the car and on the train. Machu Picchu itself was very wet but it didn't matter for our tour. Our guide, Javier Flores, was friendly, welcoming and happy. His English was great and knew everything we asked him. He really made the tour worth it for us as he not only knew about the history of the place but the culture, people, and politics that surrounded Machu Picchu. It really helped build a larger image of the place not just what you saw before you. Would definitely recommend booking through yapa explorers as it was easy and if you get Javier as a guide you are in for a fantastic tour.
We booked the Yapa Explorers machu pichu tour and they were fantastic throughout, very communicative and quick to respond. The highlight was of course Machu Pichu with our brilliant tour guide, Javier Flores. He had so much knowledge and explained so much history and culture in an easy to understand way and was able to answer all of our questions. He was legitimately the best tour guide I have had anywhere in the world and I'd recommend asking for him.
The climate was good a little bit rainy but just for half hour, the organization was amazing and I could time for meals and visit the market
I couldn’t make the group tour of Sacred Valley so YAPA Tours constructed a private tour for me - it was amazing. Their contact with me was superb. I was picked up from my hotel in Ollantaytambo promptly. We went to the archaeological site in Ollantaytambo ( I’d seen it the day before and thought all the steps were not for me ). Angel instilled a feeling of confidence in me - thank you so much Angel. That was followed by Salinas de Maras then Moray. Lunch break which was superb indeed I’m back there this evening. Lastly we went to Pisac. My guide Angel was superb. His knowledge, interest and enthusiasm brought it alive. Our driver Freddy was delightful.
Best. Trip. Ever. I cannot thank the team and our on-Site tourguide Marcelo enough for a fantastic day. Will I do it again? Oh yeah! :)
The tour was great and Victor was amazing!!! He also took good pictures.
