If you only have one day and want to make the most of it, this is the tour for you. Our guide picked us up at the cruise port and we were off to explore more than we could imagine of Tangiers. We loved wondering around the old city and riding the camels was a once in a lifetime opportunity.
It was amazing! Hassan our tour guide was excellent! He took us all over: Cave, camel riding, sightseeing, tea time, shopping, and free time. Tour picked us up at the ship and dropped us off. Our family had a great experience!
Abdul was an excellent guide…took us to the camels first thing to avoid the crowds….this was the highlight of our trip. Then he took us to a restaurant outside of Tangier for tea and a delicious plate of cheese and a hazel nut crepe. We drove around the city stopping at different points for photos. This was a very individualized trip which we greatly appreciate.
We have been on several guided tours in the past. This was the best tour ever! Hassan built a rapport with us right away. The driver was great as well. Hassan knew the area well & customized our tour for our interests. He knew so much history and answered every one of our questions. This is such a good deal, as it was just 2 of us on the tour with Hassan and driver. He kept us ahead of the crowds and showed us surprising secret sites that I doubt we would have seen on larger tours. He even arranged for a traditional Moroccan meal for us when it was clear we were getting hungry, then came back for us just as we finished eating. TRULY a tour we will never forget! Tangier is amazing and our guide was wonderful!
Our tour today with Hamza and Nizar was great!! We learned so much, admired the beautiful scenery and thoroughly enjoyed the camel ride. Hamza brought us to some great little shops too. It was a perfect day.
If you're booking the Highlights of Tangier Private Tour, do yourself a favor and ask for Hassan—better known as "Coca-Cola!" From the moment we stepped off the ship, he was waiting at the end of the pier with a sign, ready to greet us with a smile and start our adventure immediately. What an incredible day! We learned a lot, saw a lot, bought a lot, and laughed—a lot! Throughout the entire tour, we never felt rushed, pressured, or pushed into anything. Hassan made the experience feel relaxed, personal, and genuinely enjoyable. What stood out most was how much he loves his country and how passionate he is about sharing its history, culture, and traditions with visitors. His knowledge, sense of humor, and warm personality made Tangier come alive for us. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip. If you're considering a private tour in Tangier, be sure to request Coca-Cola. You will not regret it!
Abdul was a fantastic tour guide. Very informative and great communicator. He took us everywhere and gave us a real flavor of the city.
Faud (Fonze) was a fantastic guide. He explained everything clearly and made the tour fun. The only suggestion is to allow more time to shop at the market (Maybe 30 to 45 minutes) and less time at the rug store. Overall, it was a fantastic tour and he made it very fun.
I am not exaggerating when we say BEST TOUR ever and Foued, our guide, was AMAZING! Our ferry arrived a tad bit early, and they even started earlier so they could accommodate. Saw true Moroccan culture and the camel ride was extraordinary! Our guide was beyond knowledgeable and truly knew a friend everywhere we went. So so happy with the day! We feel like we had a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you!!! 🐪🤍🙏🏼
Our customized luxury tour of Tangier with Jamal of Ali Tours was absolutely exceptional and one of the highlights of our entire trip. From the moment we were met at the port, Jamal ensured that every aspect of the day was tailored specifically to our interests and preferences. His flexibility, professionalism, and genuine passion for sharing Tangier made this experience truly unforgettable. We were able to see far more than we ever expected, including the major highlights of Tangier, along with hidden gems we never would have discovered on our own. One of the most memorable moments was the bucket-list camel ride along the beach, which offered stunning coastal views and felt truly magical. We also enjoyed delicious snacks in the Medina while taking in the atmosphere, culture, and beauty of the city. What truly set Jamal apart was his deep knowledge and insight into the history, culture, and daily life of Tangier. He explained not only what we were seeing but also the historical significance and cultural context behind it all, making every stop meaningful and engaging. His commentary was thoughtful, informative, and delivered with warmth and enthusiasm. Jamal continuously adjusted the itinerary throughout the day to accommodate what we most wanted to experience, creating a personalized and seamless tour that exceeded all expectations. We never felt rushed, and every moment felt carefully curated for us. This was, without question, the most wonderful tour we could possibly have had in Tangier, and it was extremely worthwhile during our day there. We would highly recommend Jamal to anyone seeking a first-class, customized experience in Tangier. He transformed a simple sightseeing excursion into a memorable and enriching journey that we will never forget.
