Itinerario

This tour is mostly just being driven to places. The bus was safe and clean. The driver spoke mostly French with no English and there is not interactive talking with the group or information along the way so if looking for that kind of tour this is not it. You get a head set with facts on the drive. The waterfall tour guide did speak English and he was very nice. Hard to hear as busy there and lots of dogs and motorcycles driving by. Also barely any stops to take photos. We had to miss the last part he talked about as we hiked down to the rocks to photos and see the waterfall. The castles were both very good and Vianden the town is nice. Bring water and snacks for the ride. None provided and only a couple places to pick them up. Vianden we did the cattle quickly and then only a couple spots for lunch that were busy. We lucked out with a nice waiter. The last stop we did not have a tour and just free time to check out the town. We enjoyed but wished we drove ourselves for more time at places and did not gain much extra from tour guide.
It started at a perfect time (not too early so had time for breakfast), easy to find meeting location, AC shuttle & it was not too much driving compared to sightseeing. We took a lovely nature walk guided by Patrick who was wonderful, informative & full of character. We had plenty of time to see both castles, they even had a Renaissance fair at Viaden which made it even more cool. The final stop with Gaby was very informative as well. I felt like I saw a lot and the day was perfect and it was just at the right pace. The only small negative was our driver didnt speak much english & it would have been nice to know how far our next stops would be, but with signs he communicated effectively the pickup times/locations. I highly recommend spending the day this way!
If you go to Luxembourg to visit for three days or more, I highly recommend this day trip to visit a bit of the rest of the country!
An enjoyable experience which gave us an overview of Luxembourg and its countryside. The guide for the Falls was entertaining and informative though we were underwhelmed by the Falls. The driver did an efficient job but lacked any engagement with the group. We enjoyed Beaufort castle and Vianden was spectacular but overcrowded with visitors which made movement difficult.
The minibus was great but the plug-in audioguide was a bit poor quality at times. The nature walk I could have lived without, especially during the freak heatwave at the end of June. The rest of the trip was well worth it, both castles were amazing and I got plenty of photos! A little bit of free time to walk around Echternach was also nice, a cute little town to wander around and stretch your legs after time on the minibus.
Great day, very informative, travel was very easy. Bus was clean driver was professional. Small group of people.
This was a beautiful / scenic / relaxing day in an air conditioned minibus with 4 stops (including 2 castle stops) The driver was very pleasant & the surrounding areas we drove through were stunning! Great value for money & well worth exploring!
Good full day trip, only have a guide for last hour of the tour, which we stayed 15 mins for as wanted to explore the area and less interested in the history of the abbey personally. Driver made us feel welcome and safe even though his English was limited. Could have done with half an hour longer in Vianden to visit Victor Hugo’s house. Otherwise trip was great and would recommend to squeeze 4 places in a day!
I took this on June 28 by myself and was grateful for the air-conditioned bus with seatbelts because it was almost 100° during the heat wave in Europe the driver didn’t really speak English however he was able to communicate what we were supposed to do at each stop. You did get entrance to two castles. Everything was self guided except for the ECHTRNACH City, there was a Guide there. We did get a free cold water on the bus and you can listen to headset with information on it explaining where we were going. So it was a female traveling by myself on this trip. I was grateful to have the bus going to all places and let me see most of all of Luxembourg in a safe and nice way I recommend.
Great stops and beautiful drive. Driver was nice and safe. Would recommend this to anyone visiting Luxembourg.
