Este es un recorrido a pie sin prisas para descubrir de forma segura y sin problemas los sitios ocultos de la medina y sus zocos con un guía turístico experto y un buen narrador de historias. Disfrute de 3 a 4 horas de una caminata flexible a RITMO LENTO en los callejones interconectados de la Medina, visitando sus panaderías, hornos tradicionales, caravasares y otros tesoros antiguos. Explorará sitios auténticos que solo unos pocos turistas pueden ver. Algunos de ellos ni siquiera están abiertos a los turistas. Mientras camina, no solo aprenderá la verdadera historia y la historia de cada distrito, sino también sus antiguas raíces. La atención se centrará también en los talleres y las secciones antiguas de los zocos de Marrakech. Altamente recomendado para viajeros curiosos a los que les gusta la historia y la cultura y como un recorrido para comenzar con sus vacaciones en Marrakech. Lo hará más agradable y seguro.

Desde nuestro punto de encuentro Café restaurante Argana, que se encuentra en la gran plaza Jamaa El Fna, comenzaremos con Bab Ftouh: una de las puertas interiores más antiguas y una de las entradas a los zocos de Marrakech.
Visitaremos una panadería local.
Una de las mezquitas más antiguas de Marrakech que data del siglo XVI y ubicada en una sección que solía ser un barrio residencial de judíos marroquíes ✡️ "TOSHAVIM"
Visitaremos Foudouk Sarsar Una de las posadas de caravanas más antiguas de Marrakech.
Visitaremos un horno de cocción donde los lugareños traen su plato tradicional conocido como "Tangia" para ser cocinado lentamente.
Veremos el Mausoleo de Sidi Abdel Aziz Tabaa. Fue uno de los siete santos de Marrakech.
Zoco donde se realiza la subasta del líder pieles todavía tiene lugar. Aparte de viernes.
Seguiremos despertando por los talleres de los herreros
Disfrutaremos de las fragancias del genuino y fresco mercado de especias "la place des épices". La visita a un puesto de especias local es opcional.

Mohamed makes the hidden tour routes interesting with his vast knowledge of history of Marrakech. We learnt a lot from the tour. Wish we had it earlier so we would have more time to explore the souks.. The pace was just nice and he even shared some recommendations on places to go when he learnt that we will be going to Casablanca and Fez.. highly recommended tour with Mohamed for those who want to know the hidden places in Marrakech!!

Thanks to a recommendation from friends, we (a family with 3 children, 10 and 14 years old) booked the half day guided tour of the hidden sights with Azim on our first day in Marrakesh. It was a wonderful day and Azim was the best guide, we could have wished for. He totally adapted to our needs as a family. We explored the Medina and souks together, he told us lots about the history, languages and the moroccan culture and life. We visited lots of different artisans (baker, bookbinder), learned how belts and bags are made out of leather, visited a traditional pharmacy and spice shop and tasted some fresh olives and other local specialities. He also gave us lots of tips how to avoid tourist traps during our stay in Morocco and how to negotiate but stay fair in the souks. When the kids needed a break after a couple of hours in the souks, we stopped in a lovely little traditional cafe and for our little ones Azim gave them a little challenge (counting and finding a certain number of cats on our tour) to keep them interested and going. After our tour, he even sent me links to some of the history and things we discussed so we could read in a bit more detail about it. We had the most wonderful time and I cannot recommend Azim enough !

Mohammed showed us spots we would have otherwise missed just walking around. He led us through entryways to a neighborhood stove where we tried fresh bread, as well as locals’ lunch cooking over hot coals. He led us through various souks and coached us on dealing with vendors, and we bought some local spices (with no pressure). He led us at a comfortable pace and was easy to talk to, providing lots of history and information without being overwhelming. He also kept our two teens engaged, which is a feat of its own.
