My daughter and I are primate nerds so we were so excited to book this tour as a family. It was much more extensive than we expected. We were met and taken to a beautiful deck overlooking a pond, where we were given a welcome drink. At sundown, we headed into the forest to look for lorises. One other family (with younger children) was with us. Our naturalist guide was great at explaining what we were looking for and led us at a reasonable pace. We saw a ring-tailed civet, some tree frogs, a tailor bird, a flying fox, and finally toward the end, a slender loris! It was a really fun experience. I was particularly impressed with how well our naturalist guide interacted with the kids. He was so patient and answered all of our questions in an appropriate manner—the perfect amount of information. Also, mosquitoes love me; I had no mosquito repellent and only got about three bites.
