Londres : Uber Boat - Crucero de un solo viaje por el río Támesis

Great way to see London .. we stayed on for over an hour & could have stayed longer …really interesting & unless you know London really well already you will see & find places you’d like to visit !

This is a water taxi, that services the Thames. We saw all the beautiful landmarks along the way, but if you get on a crowded boat and your only seating option is in the middle of a 6 seat wide row your view is now a river ride.

Incompetent, rude, and utterly unhelpful staff. The boarding staff failed at the one job they are supposed to do: helping customers. They were not only unwilling to assist but were also unnecessarily rude, far beyond what should ever be acceptable in normal human interaction. Your business is built on providing a positive travel experience, not simply transporting people from A to B. Unfortunately, that experience was completely undermined by the behavior of your staff in the boarding area. Customer service is often what people remember most, and this interaction left an extremely negative impression. It was unprofessional, dismissive, and entirely inconsistent with the level of service your company claims to provide.

Was thrilled to hop on this boat at Chelsea hoping to get to Blackfriars Bridge. On this trip we had to alight at Westminster and join another boat. This one just took us to Embankment. Found it confusing as to why first one did not go to Blackfriars. It was not crowded at Chelsea but was very busy when we had to get back on at Wesminster. Really enjoyed the time spent onboard. Very comfortable and great to see the sights from the river.

Don’t bother wasting your time. We tried to get a boat from Bankside to Battersea, the boats were every 20 minutes and they were letting on about 2 people on at a time. We were in a queue of about 60 people. When entering, there was no expectation set of wait time so we gave up after about 40 minutes. If we had been set any sort of expectation at the start then we would have been able to make an informed decision. So yes - don’t waste your precious time especially if you’re only in London a few days.

Lovely cruise along the River Thames. I got to see some famous London sights. The boat was easy to hop on and off and the staff were helpful. Outstanding experience!

Unreliable and inconsistent, east bound night time services constantly cancelled with no notice on the wharf screen or in the app - it just doesn’t turn up. Every time we hope that it won’t happen again but it does. Otherwise a brilliant service, when they are on time or aren’t running early and leave without you.

We got on an empty boat at Battersea. You can simply pay with an Oyster card. The Uber Boat journey across the Thames to Greenwich was one of the most fun ways to discover London. From the water you get a completely different view of the city and sail past famous sights such as the Tower of London, Tower Bridge and the impressive skyline of London. The boat was comfortable, clean and the service on board was friendly. The pace is relaxed, so you can fully enjoy the beautiful views and take pictures along the way. The arrival in Greenwich is also a nice finish, with many sights, cozy streets and a beautiful setting.

Having stayed by the 02 we decided that rather than take the Tube back to the West End we would go by river using the Uber River Boat Taxi/Cruise. It is a very sleek and comfortable boat with very helpful crew members and a bar where soft drinks, alcohol, snacks, coffees and teas are available. The journey we undertook was from North Greenwich Pier to Westminster and took just under an hour including stops at other pick-up/drop-off points. The whole journey was relaxing and very enjoyable and to our delight so many of London's well known sites are easily visible from the boat. Extremely good value, although I would suspect that during rush hour it can quite busy.

Our first and definitely last trip with Uber Boat. We tapped in with our Oyster cards; the boat was due to arrive in 20 minutes. It did arrive but only picked up three people, even though there was space on board. We waited for the next boat, which was also scheduled for 20 minutes later, but it was delayed by 15 (!) minutes. All told, we waited nearly an hour for the Uber Boat. This boat, too, picked up only a handful of passengers, despite there being plenty of empty seats. Only a few people were allowed on at the subsequent stops as well. It’s truly baffling. But the best part came last: when we tapped out with our Oyster cards, the balance showed as negative, even though we had loaded enough money onto them. Checking at a ticket machine, we discovered that Uber had charged us twice—meaning each of us paid £9.90 twice. Perhaps Uber charges for waiting time? That is pretty brazen. Never again with Uber Boat.
