Travelled from Cutty Sark to Battersea Power Station and saw many sights along the river which we wouldn't have seen from underground. Decent chance to rest our weary legs!
Rip off! Charged more on the boat just because the ticket booth was not open, the ticket machine was out of order and the website was not working. We travelled at 9.30am so why we couldnt buy a ticket at the cheaper rate before travelling? I definately will not travel with Uber again and I dont recommend.

My family and group of friends had pre booked a single Uber boat from Tower pier to Battersea. We were getting the 11.28 so we would arrive for our 1pm lunch booking in Battersea in very good time. What we didn't realise was the timetable isn't fixed and spaces on boats at peak times is not guaranteed. We ended up on a boat an hour later. Communication for passengers was minimal, brusque or confused. We were told to wait one side of the Quay, with no space like we were cattle and with no seats, then we were yelled at to move to the other end. Staff seemed fraught, stressed and rude. This part of our planned day out was disappointing and stressful. The wait was around an hour with many boats arriving but saying they were full and leaving again. This was tiring and hot with nowhere to rest - not good for those needing a seat. Once on the boat it was very full and chaotic. There weren't seats together, however things settled and improved. When passengers got off at the next stop, more seats became available. Because of the chaos and pushy vibe getting on, passengers seemed to have the same pushy vibe towards each other on the boat, grabbing seats etc. Again this did settle down. As we travelled further west the boat quietened down and became more relaxed and pleasant. Seats outside and inside are comfortable, especially those inside. Views are great and the boat whips along the Thames nicely passing amazing buildings and scenery. On a beautiful day it's special to be on the water. I'd say it's expensive for what it is and better to go for the longest stretch possible to make it a worthwhile journey. I urge Uber to look at how they treat and manage passengers when they arrive at the quays and urge them to give more info about the irregularity of service and busyness of boats at peak times. This would have helped us plan better and enjoy it more. I don't remember the Thames Clippers being so chaotic to get on in the past. I wonder if the service has gone downhill. I'd probably look at other boat services another time.

This is a great tour but makes many stops so be prepared. Make sure you ride it all the way to Greenwich and see the Cutty Ship.
Really enjoyable trip on the Thames from Westminster through to Canary Wharf. A special mention to the lovely young lady at Westminster Pier who sold us our tickets — I think her name was something like Unisus/Unison. She was exceptionally friendly and helpful, particularly with our accessibility needs, and made everything very easy. The pier and boat crew were equally helpful getting us safely on board. The cruise itself was a great way to see London change from historic Westminster and the old city through the Docklands and the modern Canary Wharf. There’s no onboard commentary, so we used ChatGPT to provide our own as we travelled, which worked brilliantly. Friendly staff, easy access and a great way to see London from the Thames. Highly recommended.
Thank you for your kind feedback. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your journey and that our teams at Westminster Pier and on board were able to assist with your accessibility needs. We will be sure to pass on your comments to the member of staff you mentioned, who will be pleased to hear that they helped make your experience a positive one. Thank you for travelling with Uber Boat by Thames Clippers, and we hope to welcome you on board again soon. Kind regards, Uber Boat by Thames Clippers Customer Communications Team
Planned journey and purchased ticket x 2 on the website - 2 tickets arrived via email as a single QR Arrived at Putney Pier 10 mins early only to then notice a sign saying boat was cancelled ! Uber Website and google search showed it was on its way ? Confusing but boat didn’t cone at given time so had to get a train So now we have both our tickets unused / valid for 90 days on a single QRcode so how do we both use if we travel separately?!

Superb boat ride on the Thames between Vauxhall and Canary Wharf.. A must-do...the only downside is the mess on the dock trying to figure out which boat is the right one.

Absolutely awful experience with Uber Boat Thames Clippers. I feel the need to warn potential customers of the following: A. Once on board, you might be told that the boat can’t stop at your destination. They might blame tides or the size of the boat. You will then have to disembark at a different destination and figure out the rest of your journey from there. B. The staff are terrible and will not be able to help you with refunds. C. If it happens that you have to disembark before your destination, or for some other reason you can’t go on or complete your journey, it will be almost impossible to obtain a refund. Their staff will tell you that they can’t process refunds. You’ll end up having to email the company and contact TFL to get a refund. D. The company won’t take responsibility for tickets purchased from their self-service kiosks. They’ll say that those kiosks are operated by TFL. So if there’s a problem with the tickets, you won’t get a remedy from Uber Boar Thames Clippers. E. If you call Uber Boat Thames Clippers, no-one answers the phone. The email address given by their automated voice message is invalid. Ridiculously over-priced and if you run into a problem you won’t get a refund (if you do get a refund it will only be after days of emailing various companies to get it). AVOID
