The guide's stories were just brilliant
We loved our 2 hr cruise on Loch Ness! Jamie our guide was fantastic. He chatted with us on the way back to the drop off spot and answered a bunch of questions. The cruise is pretty and enjoyable. We did not get off at the castle. Unfortunately, we did not see Nessy. Please note: We took a 20 minute bus ride from Inverness downtown on the Ember bus to get to the spot where the cruise takes off.
The two hour Contemplation Tour was a great way to see the lake and castle. Wonderful tour guide. Try the hot chocolate!
We did the "Contemplation" Tour - 2 hours just sailing about on the loch, totally magical on a hot sunny day. The boat leaves from Dochgarroch - a very pleasant 3.5 mile walk in each direction from Inverness along the Caladonian Canal towpath (we saw a red kite flying overhead!) Ate at the gift shop place, looked at the cows, wandered around. Lovely afternoon: loads of room on the boat, guide was very informative although some of the joes fell a bit flat:) Great value all round. NB the trip doesn't d the whole loch, just a wee bit of it
Decided to do a boat trip wasn’t sure what to expect , the staff very extremely friendly Guide was fun and informative, Could buy food and drink during the trip . Weather was a bonus being a lovely sunny day would definitely do this again.
This was a fantastic experience. It was great value for money, and at two hours just the perfect amount of time, especially with a drink and snack bar (the highland hot chocolate was perfect). We went earlier in the day, which seemed to have a much smaller crowd than the more popular late afternoon one, so the budding photographers in my family had room to move about for shots. The guide was funny and knowledgeable. The cruise had everything except Nessie herself.

Superb! The guides and navigators have a great sense of humor and lots of stories and legends about Loch Ness… A bar/café on board and restrooms. Ideal for families. Wheelchair accessible OK
