Los coques y licores digestivos como el moscatell ya eran populares en la Edad Media, así como muchas variedades de postres para las fiestas más importantes del año. Con la llegada del cacao, las posibilidades de la repostería se multiplicaron. Hoy, Barcelona se ha convertido en un destino dulce reconocido con pastelerías de renombre mundial. Con Sweet Barcelona Tour conocerás los ingredientes, sus propiedades y la relación con el calendario festivo. El recorrido lo llevará a través de panaderías y hornos tradicionales donde descubriremos las mejores recetas y sabores y productos artesanales.

Tienda tradicional de quesos y leche que data de 1870 donde se creó Cacaolat. Degustaremos Cacaolat, su tradicional bebida de chocolate que inventaron en la década de 1930.
Secciones de frutas y dulces en el Mercado de la Boqueria. Antiguo convento de San José y mercado desde 1840.
Famosa pastelería del chef Christian Escribà. Aquí es donde se hicieron muchas tartas para personajes famosos y ocasiones importantes como el concierto de U2 en Barcelona o la película ganadora del Oscar Todo sobre mi madre.
Mercado de comida tradicional al aire libre en festividades. Basílica gótica de Santa María del Pi.
Antiguos cafés donde comenzó la tradición del chocolate y los churros / melindros. Galerías de arte famosas. Degustaremos el manjar de turrón, tradicionalmente consumido durante la época navideña.
Plaza de la Catedral (exterior), murallas romanas. Mostraremos a los participantes la puerta y murallas romanas y la fachada de la Catedral de Barcelona.
Pastelería antigua. Famosa por sus merengues y dulces. Degustaremos un dulce elaborado a la antigua usanza.
Primera cafetería de la ciudad. Famoso por su café
Basílica gótica que data del 1300 (exterior). Explicaremos cómo se construyó esta iglesia con personas cargando piedras a la espalda desde la colina de Montjuïc hasta el centro de la ciudad para hacer un sacrificio.
Pâtisserie. Premio a la mejor tarta de chocolate en 2005.
La famosa tienda de botifarres (embutidos) es su singular embutido dulce y de chocolate.
Tienda de frutos secos con el horno de asar más antiguo de Europa.
Pâtisserie. Mejor Croissant de Mantequilla Artesano de España 2020. Degustaremos un producto de panadería tradicional y veremos el horno centenario.

We had a truly wonderful experience exploring Barcelona with the team from Oh My Guide Barcelona. From the very beginning, everything felt warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully organized. Christina guided us through the old city and the local markets, and she immediately made us feel comfortable. She is incredibly kind and engaging, and exactly the kind of guide you hope to have when discovering a new city. Her knowledge of Barcelona’s history and culture, combined with the stories she shared along the way, made the tour feel meaningful rather than just informational. We especially appreciated how she accommodated our last-minute request and still made the experience feel relaxed and unhurried. Another highlight of our visit was touring with Marco, who guided us through Sagrada Familia, Park Güell, Casa Milà, and Casa Batlló. Marco has a wonderful way of explaining Gaudí’s work that helps you truly understand the vision and creativity behind the architecture. He was patient, thoughtful, and gave us time to pause, observe the details, and appreciate the spaces instead of rushing from one stop to the next. His explanations made everything come alive. Spending time with both Christina and Marco made our visit to Barcelona incredibly special. They are fantastic guides who clearly love what they do, and that passion shines through in the way they share the city with their guests. We are very grateful for the experience and would happily tour with them again in the future.
We did two trips with OHMyGuide in Barcelona. One was a sweet tour and one was a Guadi tour. We are a family of 12 with Four children (ages 3-14). Both guides (Delores and Oliver) were fantastic. They were terrific with kids and easily accommodated our needs, for example, making sure we had time to get food for the kids. Cristina worked with us to find the best trips for our family. The sweets tour is a wonderful way to see the architecture of city while also learning about the culture and enjoying sweet treats! We enjoyed turron (a nougaty dessert usually eaten at Christmas), cream, hard candies, and so many other sweets we never would have tried otherwise. The neighborhood was equally interesting. Cristina is knowledgable about the city, and told us about the history and recommending other places and experiences that I never would have found otherwise. We've also been on her Sitges tour and Barcelona crimes tour and would recommend them all.
