Great tour of Luxor and Aswan--smooth all the way. Hamdy Gad was a magnificent guide. Very knowledgeable and personable, multilingual and took us to sites and viewing spots away from usual tourist crowd. He goes as "deep" as you wish on egyptology from big picture to fine details. What a tutorial! Also friendly, funny, and helpful on all fronts. Hassan, our driver, very able and good companion. Luxor Travel easy to work with and responsive to our interests and desires. Highly recommend this tour! One piece of advise: Fly out from Abu Simbel on return to Cairo.

Experience authentic Egyptian hospitality with Luxor Travels! We felt like queens as we sailed down the Nile on-board the elegant and luxurious Blue Shadow cruise. We were accompanied by Luxor Travel’s seasoned Egyptologist Omar, who took excellent care of our family of 4 throughout the trip. My son and I had a fantastic time in southern Egypt thanks to great guys from Luxor Travel. Their assistance started long before the trip. Having never been to Egypt before and operating on a limited budget and within a small time frame (school vacation) I had a thousand questions to make every hour count. And Mr. Ragab showed infinite patience answering my emails promptly and courteously. Both our guides, Aiman in Aswan/Abu Simbel and Khalid in Luxor, were professional Egyptologists, decoding every hieroglyph in sight and knowledgeable about every dynasty. Moreover both were very friendly and eager to help. These were great four days!
