Lo recogemos del hotel y nos dirigimos a la región de Kakheti. Tenemos una degustación de vinos en el camino en la bodega más grande de KTW, donde degustamos 5 tipos de vinos y luego continuamos el camino para explorar el Monasterio de Bodbe y Signagi-City of Love. Solo este tour te brinda la posibilidad de explorar Signagi por completo y tener tiempo suficiente para sentir la ciudad del amor. Este no es un tour tradicional, el cual te pide que lo sigas siempre para guiarlo y escucharlo. No, tienes 100% de libertad en Signagi y tienes casi un día completo para visitar pequeñas bodegas locales, museos, casas de bodas, disfrutar de Zipline, almorzar en cualquier terraza con vistas incomparables, relajarte y tomar fotos increíbles, caminar mucho y conocer nuevos amigos. No olvides llevar bañador contigo, porque aquí puedes encontrar lugares, que tienen piscinas con vistas inolvidables. Al final del día, puede quedarse en Signagi o en cualquier otro hotel ubicado en Kakheti y reservar un traslado privado para el día siguiente. Además, puede regresar a Tbilisi el mismo día.

Kakhetian Traditional Winemaking Factory (Kakhetian Traditional Winemaking ”) es una de las empresas productoras de vinos y licores más grandes de Georgia y la región del Cáucaso. Establecida en 2001, KTW produce vino, brandy, vino espumoso y chacha con técnicas tradicionales de Georgia mezcladas con el estado de tecnologías de última generación. Esto permite a la empresa conservar un sabor de vino antiguo y único y crear su propio estilo de firma para difundirlo en el mundo. Tendremos la posibilidad de visitar la fábrica de vinos y degustar 5 tipos de vino georgiano y 10 años de brandy. . Consejo: • Lleve su botella de agua para beberla entre cata de vinos. • En una fábrica de vino puede haber baja temperatura, así que llévese sus chaquetas. • Chkhaveri - Vino blanco seco. El vino insignia de KTW, "Chkhaveri", se remonta a 1880 en el pueblo. Askana, donde el enólogo Antimoz Chkhaidze fundó una de las bodegas más destacadas de ese período, usó uvas únicas en esa región y elaboró un nuevo tipo de vino, lo llamó: “Chkhaveri”.
El monasterio de San Nino se encuentra en el pueblo de Bodbe, en la región de Sighnaghi, Kakheti. El territorio del monasterio está decorado con macizos de flores y arbustos, viñedos y un manantial curativo. La historia del monasterio está estrechamente relacionada con la adopción del cristianismo. Según la leyenda, después de la adopción del cristianismo, el rey Miriani tuvo un sueño: cuatro estrellas volaron a través de las cuatro montañas de Georgia y uno de los rayos estaba cerca de Bobde. Nino fue allí para poner una cruz en ese mismo lugar. Vivió muy modestamente en una tienda de campaña donde murió. Fue enterrada en el lugar donde estaba su tienda. A principios del siglo IV, se construyó un monasterio en el sitio de la tienda. La tumba de Nino se encuentra dentro del monasterio, debajo del altar, y está estrictamente prohibido fotografiar el altar.
Signagi es una pequeña ciudad hermosa en la región de Kakhetian. Hace unos 10 años era la aburrida ciudad olvidada, que después de una extensa restauración se ha convertido en un encantador centro turístico civilizado con calles adoquinadas y casas acogedoras con techos de tejas rojas brillantes. La arquitectura de la ciudad está hecha al estilo del clasicismo del sur de Italia. También se han construido una serie de hoteles y casas de huéspedes que corresponden a todos los gustos y preferencias. Signagi también es conocida como “la ciudad del amor”, y la razón es que existe una casa de bodas especial, donde puedes casarte en cualquier momento sin entrega previa de documentos.

I generally do not leave reviews when a tour is acceptable, only when the tour is problematic, but here we have an exception. I booked this private one on one tour not understanding I could be part of a small group instead, but this turned out perfect! Nika was a perfect companion- happy, smart, fine English and understood we should not be doing a run of the mill tour. We made unplanned stops, laughed and shared great music playlists-exactly what I wanted: a non- tour tour!! Thanks Nika- a great experience!!!

A great way to spend the day outside Tbilisi. Ample time allocated per stop. Gives you a good sense of the Georgian history and culture. Givi was an awesome guide, we had a lot of fun and he’s also nice with young kids.

We booked a private tour for our first trip to Kakheti region. It was splendid! Our guide Dima and Abel were fantastic. Loved it! the tour gide was super attentive and friendly, I could say that he introduced us to some hidden gems of the area: we tasted factory wines (delicious), home-made wines (even more delicious), baked our own bread, played with puppies, walked through the great wall of Georgia and even had a bonus-tasting of local drinks.
