Grecia es el lugar donde nació y prosperó la filosofía. Acompañado por un miembro de nuestro equipo, viajará a través del tiempo en todos los movimientos filosóficos de la antigua Grecia y descubrirá profundas conexiones con nuestros Mitos y Dioses del Olimpo. La democracia, la física, la astronomía, la ética y muchas otras ciencias aplicadas provienen de la filosofía y, naturalmente, los filósofos son considerados los primeros intelectuales del mundo. A través de un recorrido a pie privado de 4 horas, aprenderá todos los hechos interesantes sobre filósofos desde Tales de Mileto hasta Sócrates y Platón, y desde Aristóteles hasta el filósofo cínico Diógenes de Sinope, cuya famosa respuesta hacia Alejandro Magno "Destaca de mi luz solar", cuando se le preguntó si había algún favor que pudiera hacer por él, es indicativo de su carácter. Conocerás los mitos más importantes del mundo griego antiguo, como la historia detrás del nacimiento de la diosa Atenea y todo lo relacionado con el travieso dios Hermes.

El área lleva el nombre de la Iglesia de la Pantanassa que se encuentra dentro de la plaza.
Ancient Agora es el lugar donde nació la filosofía estoica en Poikile Stoa.
Mientras admiramos la famosa Torre de los Vientos, aprenderemos todo sobre Aiolos, el guardián de los vientos.

We had a great time, my son , who is 14 years old, said “this tour was his favorite by far”Bianca is very knowledgeable. She was able to introduce topics of mythology, philosophy, politics , religion in a very relaxing way , she always finds the perfect place to sit and talk during our walks through the busy and crowded touristic city.

I did this amazing walking tour with Bianca this morning and I could not recommend it highly enough. Not only did I learn about some of the great Greek philosophers and some Greek gods, but I also learnt about Athens. I have learnt to slow down, wander and get lost in this beautiful city. This tour was one of the best tours we have taken. Not only because it gave historical context to our time in Athens but because of our guide, Bianca. She was engaging, passionate, clearly expert in her subject yet made the the subject matter approachable and memorable. It was a walking tour and we covered a lot of ground, yet Bianca did an excellent job of pacing the tour, finding benches for us where possible so it didn't feel too much. The tour was equally loved by me, my husband and our 21 year old and it's clear that she is skilled at making the subject accessible for all ages. Highly recommend!
Bianca was exceptional in her knowledge but more importantly in her ability to enthuse and convey this so important information in such a pleasant and relaxed manner .. we didn’t know how the 4 hours flew by.

From Socrates to Descartes, from the Stoics to Irvine, from Aristotle to Nussbaum - there is so much still to learn from the classical Greek philosophy. Along the way, you get to see Athens from a local's perspective.
Our lovely guide, Bianca, provided an amazing tour for our family. She was very knowledgeable and also warm and down to earth. She paced the tour well—we walked a lot, but had plenty of pauses, and we stopped for a drink at a rooftop restaurant. Bianca was organized in her approach, and pitched the material to our family’s interests. She was also flexible and adapted when needed. We had a great time with her and highly recommend this tour!

I was looking forward to hearing about the famous Greece philosophers while getting a brief tour of the notable city sites. Bianca exceeded my expectations in both regard. She is well educated in Greek philosophy and fully immersed in it. I went beyond her explanation to where we actually engaged in a discussion about 4 of the most famous philosophers.
